Chaiyi, Taiwan: A Day of Fa Study and Sharing in A Pure Land (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in Chiayi, Taiwan held a one-day, monthly Fa study and experience sharing at Bo'ai National Elementary School of Chiayi on November 19, 2006. In the morning, practitioners studied and exchanged cultivation experiences in groups. Some practitioners sat in a circle on the lawn under trees, some sat in the hallway, and a group of local dialect speakers stayed in a classroom. Practitioners read Master's lectures out loud, filling the campus with peace and harmony. An older gentleman from Dong-shi Township, a coastal area said, "I don't know much about how to read, but I feel peaceful when listening to everybody reading."

The coordinator set up a team for those senior, local-dialect-only speakers, and everybody read Master's lectures word by word in the dialect. Some of them are couples who came together. The host encouraged everyone to promote Falun Dafa to family members, and to share more about the benefits that they have obtained since starting the practice.

Some practitioners said when talking about sickness karma tests that it is not just about whether we take medicine or not. We should think of the issue from the Fa's perspective. We should not do anything compulsively, but should remember when facing tests that we are cultivators, and maintain righteous conduct with righteous thoughts. Some others said that we should pay more attention to studying the Fa daily and improving xinxing substantially. Xinxing then can be improved, and one can feel the power of Dafa. When the evil retribution comes, it is to test if we really believe.

When talking about the "Nine-day Fa Study and Exercises Training Session," a practitioner said that he fell asleep when watching the video on the first day. On the second day, he tried to sleep more in his spare time during the daytime, so that he could stay awake during the video, but it didn't work, and he slept even more comfortably. He said, "After reading Zhuan Falun, I realized that it's Master who helped clean up my body."

One practitioner mentioned something that happened when she just started cultivation. She said that the first time she started the reading Zhuan Falun, she just went through the book very quickly, but she still remembered reading:

Then, each time she would put her legs down when feeling pain, but afterwards, when she read the book again, she realized that she missed one sentence "Once the legs are put down, one’s practice is in vain." (Zhuan Falun). After that, she decided to transcribe the whole book of Zhuan Falun and read it seriously.

Practitioners gathered together in the afternoon. Some practitioners who work on TV projects showed the recorded TV program of the "2006 Chinese New Year Gala." Practitioners felt that the show was graceful and striking, and could purify people's hearts. Practitioners encouraged others to promote the the gala to society, because it can both clarify the truth and introduce the beauty and harmony of Falun Gong as a cultural event on a large scale.

A practitioner talked about his understanding of how to coordinate well. Before the end of the sharing, he said, "Everybody should have the will to make the environment better. Once everyone agrees on this, we'll be a whole body, and heaven and people will help us." The Fa-study and experience sharing completed successfully that day.
