Practitioner Ms. Su Guiqin Passed Away in Heilongjiang Province

Ms. Su Guiqin was born in October 1950. She was employed at the Qunying Coalmine in Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province, and had lived in the Qiangjin District of Jidong County. Ms. Su started practicing Falun Gong in 1996 and had firmly believed in "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." Though her family had financial difficulties, she still clarified the truth about Dafa.

Ms. Su's father, Mr. Su Diankui, began Fa study in October 1996. He was very ill before practicing. He could not squat and had gastrointestinal problems. All his illness disappeared after practicing Dafa.

Ms. Su Guiqin was reported when distributing truth-clarifying materials in Nehe City in the spring of 2002. Nehe City Police Department agents went to Ms. Su's house to arrest her but failed. Later in May, Nehe Police Department officials worked with people from the Jidong County Police Department Security Division. The head, Li Qinghua, and CCP head Sun Zuoen arrested Ms. Su and imprisoned her for 15 days at the Jidong County Detention Center. During this period, police attempted to force Ms. Su to write a statement denouncing Dafa, but Ms. Su refused. The Security Division agents fined Ms. Su's family 500 yuan and extorted another 300 yuan, calling it a "boarding fee" before they released Ms. Su.

Ms. Su's father, Mr. Su Diankui, was in his 80s. In the spring of 2002, Nehe City Security Division police officers took away all of his Dafa books, videotapes, and music tapes used for Dafa practice. They also arrested Mr. Su and took him to the Nehe City Security Department and handcuffed him for two days and nights. After that Mr. Su was often harassed at home. The abuses greatly damaged his physical and mental health. Mr. Su died on November 21, 2003.

The long-term persecution greatly damaged Ms. Su Guiqin's health. She started spitting blood on January 6, 2006 and lost consciousness two days later. Her son sent her to the hospital. She passed away on February 28, 2006.

Jidong County Police Department Security Division Head Li Qinghua had to resign from his position for persecuting Dafa practitioners. Insiders have since disclosed that Li Qinghua still owed the police department more than 10,000 "yuan" for expenses he could not justify. The money is unaccounted for.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Yaying Passed Away in Shulan City, Jilin Province

Ms. Wang Yaying was 55 years old and worked as janitor at the Mining Bureau in Shulan City. She was retired and had lived at North Street in Jishu Township, Shulan City. Ms. Wang began studying the Fa in 1998. She suffered from many illnesses before practicing Dafa and was fully recovered afterwards. She was arrested and sentenced to one year of forced labor for posting truth-clarifying banners. Her family eventually paid bribes amounting to more than 20,000 yuan for her release. Because Ms. Wang refused to give up cultivation, the police often threatened and harassed her at home, forcing her to sign a statement denouncing Dafa. Recently the police forced her to sign again. Under pressure, her family members cooperated with the police, and Ms. Wang suffered greatly. Ms. Wang suddenly died on October 25, 2006 at home.
