My Cultivation in Eliminating Attachments While Persuading Sentient Beings to Quit the CCP and Its Related Organizations

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a practitioner who learned Falun Dafa in 1996. I feel ashamed since I am not diligent enough in my cultivation and very often I do things that do not conform to Teacher's requirements. I want to share some of my experiences in persuading the world's people to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its related organizations.

I am a senior high school student. Ever since the wave of people quitting the CCP started, I felt that I should do something. In the process of validating Falun Dafa and saving sentient beings, a practitioner's age is not a factor in his or her ability to do things well. My teachers and classmates are the majority of those with whom I talk in relation to quitting the CCP. At the beginning, I had a very big attachment about persuading them. Instead of being happy that this person has been saved, I was, in fact, validating myself due to my own attachment to thinking that it was because of me that the person had quit the CCP. As a result, what I said had no power behind it. For example, the first person that I tried to persuade to quit was my English teacher, who always thought that I was up to no good. When my persuasion didn't work, I tried using both sweet-talk and threats to convince him to quit the CCP.

At that time I did not realize that it was because I had not studied the Fa diligently and lacked sufficient righteous thoughts. On another occasion, when I heard that another practitioner had persuaded someone I knew to quit the CCP, I was upset with the other practitioner because I thought that he had taken away my "contribution."

Teacher used my mother to awaken me by having her tell me that my starting point was not right. It was because I had not eliminated the evil elements behind the people and my state of mind was impure. As a result, their understanding side could not be revealed. Only after studying and reading more of the Fa and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party could my efforts in clarifying the truth and persuading people to quit the CCP become powerful. When everything we say is straight to the point with no attachments, and when our thoughts are pure, the evil behind the people will be shocked and the compassionate side of their nature will overcome the evil.

In fact, a person's attitude towards quitting the CCP is closely related to the practitioner's state of mind. If we do not study the Fa well and have not read the book for a long time, we will find that our thoughts are not clear while clarifying the truth to others. Sometimes we talk about this, sometimes we talk about that. People will also get impatient and develop an unwillingness to listen to us. We should listen to Teacher to study the Fa more and read the book more.

After correcting myself, I started to persuade my classmates to quit the CCP. When I see that the lives around me are not aware of the danger that they are facing, I know that I should do my job better and earlier. Their knowing sides are still waiting for me.

Today when I went shopping, the saleswoman told me that she was leaving tomorrow. I thought there was not much time for her, so I started to clarify the truth and try to persuade her to quit the CCP. In the end, three members of her family all quit the CCP. She also told me that in her village, one third of the villagers are practicing Falun Gong. She said that if she could come back to work in the future, she would also learn Falun Dafa from me. I was very happy after hearing this. I thought to myself that I had saved three more sentient beings. I did not have the attachment of treating the people like numbers. I eliminated one more attachment and knew that I should continue my efforts.

I am a Fa-rectification Falun Dafa practitioner. There is nothing that can stop me from validating Dafa and protesting the persecution.
