Study the Fa More, Pass Every Test and Every Tribulation Well

(Clearwisdom.net) My mother and I have been practicing Falun Dafa for many years. We feel lucky to be able to learn Dafa. We feel surrounded by teacher's graciousness, and are extremely grateful. However, I also feel ashamed at not completely accepting the responsibilities of a Dafa disciple. I became more ashamed after reading fellow practitioners' experience sharing articles, which manifested their steadfast and profound enlightenment quality. Now my remorseful words have become unnecessary, and the most important thing is to "follow Teacher closely, steadfastly cultivating Dafa" (Hong Yin II) Now is the time to completely eliminate the evil. Fellow practitioners must not slack off and must closely follow the process of Fa-rectification.

On October 10, 2006, the authorities rushed into my home. My mother had already been detained by the police, which left my father alone at home. My father (a non-practitioner) was probably very afraid--afraid that my mother was suffering in prison, afraid that too many things could be found and used as "evidence." But he was still clear at the critical time. He tried his best to prevent the loss of materials, and with the protection of Teacher, the evildoers did not see most of the Dafa books and truth clarification VCDs.

My mother practices Falun Dafa with her third eye essentially closed. Yet she had visions in prison which she had never seen before. She saw beautiful flowers blossoming in front of her one after another, as well as many other things. The wonderfulness of the Buddha's Fa let my mother be even more firm in her righteous thoughts, and she only had one thought when she was interrogated: "Even if I die, I can't reveal fellow practitioners, and I have to send forth righteous thoughts continuously." As a result, her case was carelessly dealt with in a short time.

On the fourth night of her detention in prison, my mother "saw" many shameless naked women. She realized that Teacher had given her a hint, and that there might be demonic interference. Sure enough, the following day a group of prostitutes was brought in. They shouted strangely, held cigarettes in their mouths, cursed, and used foul language. With Teacher's hint, mother realized that such a filthy place is not for Falun Dafa practitioners, so she asked Teacher to let her have a sickness reaction. That night Mother had a high fever, and her face turned red. The police asked a doctor to check on her, and the doctor said that her illness was severe, so they set her free ahead of schedule. Mother successfully walked out with Teacher's protection.

What I want to say here is that if one is arrested, it must be due to our loopholes which can be taken advantage of. Practitioners should watch themselves at all times, be more receptive to others' ideas, and pay more attention when others remind and advise them with good intentions. On the day of the incident, my father asked my mother not to go out and distribute truth-clarification materials. He was afraid that something might happen to her. Although it was not wrong for her to go out, the important thing was that she was not happy that my father tried to prevent her from going. She thought about his always saying bad words, caused by his human notions, so she rudely turned him down. He thought that she was being intolerant and would not listen to anyone else's opinion.

Probably the evil saw Mother's attachment to being unwilling to accept the opinion of others and took advantage of it. This attachment is clearly mentioned in Teacher's Fa,

"When they are right, they don't like others bringing up things they could improve on; when they are wrong, they don't want to be criticized. They get upset as soon as others criticize." ("Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles")

The old forces took advantage of this loophole, and she was arrested, which caused unnecessary losses, and this should be a lesson for all of us. Fellow practitioners, please make sure you listen to the opinions of others, including your family members and those you mix with in society. Every test and every tribulation has been mentioned in Teacher's Fa, and it is up to each practitioner to achieve the following:

"Study the Fa and obtain the Fa,
Share in learning and share in cultivating,
Following [the Fa] in everything,
Compliance is cultivation."
