Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Support Quitting the CCP on the Eve of Human Rights Day (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) "Maybe you are a good person. You have not done anything wrong. But since you are a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the CCP would use your name to do evil. You, therefore, have a share in all of the bad things it did. You’d better hurry up and quit. Don’t be a scapegoat for the CCP anymore. You can use any alias to quit." A Falun Gong practitioner urged a young Chinese man to quit the Communist Youth League. The young man smiled, walked up to the stand and signed the declaration, "Hope from Fujian renounces the Youth League."
On December 9th, 2006, on the eve of World Human Rights Day, Falun Gong practitioners from Munich and surrounding areas in Germany held activities at Odeonsplatz to support sixteen million people quitting the CCP. It rained and snowed in the Munich area on the day of the activities. But the event went ahead as planned. Despite the rain and snow, the attention of passers-by and tourists was attracted to large photo exhibitions exposing the CCP's atrocious persecution of the Chinese people, banners describing the CCP organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, and information about sixteen million people quitting the CCP.
A large number of Italian tourists took leaflets. Some were stunned to hear about the CCP atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Some immediately signed the petition to stop the CCP's brutality. Taking a leaflet, a German woman said that she was ashamed of not being informed about the situation sooner. She said she would like to learn more details. She was very interested in the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party (an editorial published by The Epoch Times newspaper). She promised to read it carefully.
A German who signed the petition told the reporter that he could not stand this kind of thing (the CCP organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners). He said that as a European, he had to take a stand to stop these kinds of acts. A woman standing by agreed with the gentleman. She said, "I have been paying attention to this. During the Nazi era, similar kinds of things happened in Germany. Nazi doctors, even some professors, used live subjects in experiments for medicine, wounds, and surgical operations. The Jews, the disabled, and foreigners were all targets of their experiments. To me it is unacceptable behavior to harvest organs from living persons under any excuse. I cannot understand or accept this. That’s why I have to sign [the petition] to stop it."
When the event was over, the policeman on duty shook the freezing hands of the Falun Gong practitioner in charge, hoping they would warm up. The police said, "You’ve been working too hard." Pointing to the banner about the CCP harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, practitioners told the police that their own suffering was nothing compared to what practitioners in China are going through. They offered the policeman the investigative report by David Matas and David Kilgour and the German version of the Nine Commentaries. The officer promised to read these materials carefully.
