Learn How to Face and Deal with Problems By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Mainland China (Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners should look inside themselves when they encounter problems. Only then will the problems be solved, and only then can the problems be solved. Looking outside, or looking toward others, is the protective umbrella of human attachment shielding oneself, as well as the mentality of selfishness that a Falun Dafa practitioner must remove during cultivation practice. If you cannot "fundamentally change the mentality of an everyday person" you won't be able to truly move toward godhood.
In additional to raising one's cultivation level, Falun Dafa practitioners all are very capable. If we can stay within the Fa when facing problems, we will have the ability to protect ourselves and address our problems on our own.
Master told us in Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital: "When a person charges forward and is contentious, the more he wants to resolve it, the less he is able to. In that scenario you still haven't in fact let go of that attachment and you are pushing your way to the front, and you insist on figuring out who's right and who's wrong; even though you've made mistakes, you insist on figuring out others' mistakes. When that's the approach, you won't be able to resolve the problem. Many things end up like that. And when the problem can't be resolved, you want to go find Master. There are often reasons why I don't want to meet with practitioners, though in fact I really like being with you. (Applause) You have seen what the people in today's society have become. I don't want to even lay eyes upon their dirty thoughts and behavior. I'd rather interact with Dafa disciples. But as soon as I meet with you, you bring up a lot of questions (audience laughs), and you thrust upon me many things that you are supposed to work on as you cultivate. So I am left with no choice, and I thus don't dare to meet with you." Upon reading this section of the Fa, I burst into tears. As Falun Dafa practitioners, today we should learn how to undertake and face problems. We should face up to and take responsibility for these problems, rather than looking for Master when encountering problems or troubles. We should not push all our problems onto Master, otherwise, the old forces would find the biggest excuse for its existence. When facing problems, it is not wrong to think about Master, but it is a human notion to push the problems to Master.
We have our god-side, which is omnipotent in the level it is at and can solve the problems under the influence of strong righteous thoughts. One should truly cultivate oneself, look inside oneself, truly undertakes one's mission as a Falun Dafa practitioner, face everything with righteous thoughts, cultivate away the attachments that need to be removed, and thus give Master no reason to dare not to meet with us because we will not let go of our attachments.
Upon writing these words, I suddenly had a thought: Mainland Falun Dafa practitioners all want to meet with Master, especially those who have not had the chance to meet Master in person. Then we should just do well, as when we do the things we are supposed to do well, the time will come when we will meet our Master
