On October 16, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Yingyi was taken into custody by the State Security Division of the Mouping District Police Department in Yantai City. Recently she has been transferred to the No. 8 Division at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City. Ms. Wang has been on a hunger strike for 59 days protesting the persecution. She has been force-fed each day.

On December 12, 2006, the labor camp authorities called Ms. Wang's family asking them to come since her health had deteriorated so drastically that she faced the danger of amputation.

Ms. Cheng Wenting, 34, is a practitioner from Hengshan, Jixi City. At around 4:00 p.m. on December 12, 2006, officers took her into custody at her home and conducted an unlawful search. She is being held in the Jixi Detention Center.

In addition, practitioner Ms. Liu Guiqin from Jixi City, who was taken away on the evening of November 27, 2006, is being held at the Jixi City Detention Center in Heilongjiang Province.

Recently, officers from various police stations affiliated with the Chaoyang Police Department in Changchun City went to practitioners' homes in their jurisdiction and harassed them. At around 11:00 a.m. on December 13, 2006, officers from the Qinghe Police Station in the Chaoyang District, Changchun City, broke into Ms. Luo's home by prying open the door. During the unlawful entry, Ms. Luo, 56, fell from the fifth floor where she lives. The police dialed the emergency medical response telephone number 120 to take her away. Her whereabouts remain unknown.

On the morning of December 9, 2006, four officers including Wang Qinghong (male), director of the Ziyoudalu Police Station in Changchun City, went to practitioner Ms. Bai Shuqin's home. They pretended to be collecting utility fees. Ms. Bai's family opened the door, and the police rushed in and started an unlawful search. They claimed they were going to take Ms. Bai away with them. Due to Ms. Bai and her family's condemnation, the police made up an excuse and left empty-handed.

At around 7:00 p.m. on November 24, 2006, officers led by Yang Dashuai (male) from the Dongsan Police Station in Gongzhuling City accompanied by officers from other areas, climbed over the garden wall and then broke into practitioners' homes for unlawful searches. Five practitioners were taken into custody. One managed to escape with righteous thoughts. A driver that makes a living by renting out three-wheeled vehicles passed out for five hours after being mistakenly identified and terribly beaten by the police.

On October 6, 2006, Zhao Xichu (male), a residential police officer from the Shengli Police Station in Huadian City, led another officer to practitioner Ms. Li Chunshan's home. They were denied entrance by Ms. Li and her family. On October 8, Zhao led two officers and arrived at Ms. Li's home again. They pounded on the door but still did not get in. At around 6:00 p.m. on October 10, over a dozen officers from the Shengli Police Station arrived in three police vehicles. The officers pounded on the door until 10:00 p.m. and the neighbors were disturbed. At around 5:00 a.m. on October 11, when Ms. Li's daughter-in-law returned and opened the door, the police forced their way in. Without presenting any paperwork, the officers started searching Ms. Li's home. Internet security officers were also called in. After four hours of ransacking, the officers found a few copies of truth-clarifying materials and a copy of Zhuan Falun. The police did not leave until an elderly lady in Ms. Li's home suffered from a recurrence of heart disease symptoms.

On the morning of December 12, practitioner Mr. Xiao Wangqiang was at work in the supermarket when officers from the Xingye Street Police Station in the Kuancheng District of Changchun City took him to the police station. The officers then searched his home and confiscated DVDs of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, the Chinese edition of Clearwisdom Weekly, and handwritten recent articles by the founder of Falun Gong.

Practitioner Ms. Hui Ruiying, in her 70's, is a retired worker from a cardboard factory in Anqiu, Weifang City, Shandong Province. On the morning of December 5, 2006, she was clarifying the public the truth about the persecution in the Chengdong Farm Market in Anqiu when four or five police officers took her into custody. She remains in custody in the Anqiu City Detention Center.

According to internal sources, at the end of December 2006, the Sanhe City Court in the Langfang area, Hebei Province plans to unlawfully sentence eleven local practitioners to prison.

It has been learned that three practitioners who were arrested on October 15, 2006--Ms. Li Zegang, Mr. Chen Qiwei, and Ms. Sun Yuehua--have been officially placed under arrest. The authorities are planning on sentencing them to prison. The police have also stepped up the harassment, surveillance, and threats against family members of practitioner Ms. Sun Zhonghua, who managed to avoid arrest on October 15.

On November 8, 2006, Mr. Yang, the owner of a bed and breakfast in the Baqiao District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, expressed his opinions on Falun Gong to guests who were dining. A police officer arrested Mr. Yang on the spot. Mr. Yang's whereabouts remain unknown.

Ms. Yang Yuying and another practitioner from Yantai City were distributing truth-clarifying materials in Laishan when they were taken into custody. They are being held in the Fushan Detention Center.

Between November 27 and December 3, 2006, several truth-clarifying materials production sites were sabotaged in Pingyuan County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province. The police took away personal computers, printers, DVD burners, televisions, Falun Dafa books, and materials. Several practitioners have been fined 10,000 and 20,000 yuan.

On December 8, 2006, officers from the local police station and the Yeken Police Department broke into the home of Mr. Du Ping, a practitioner from Regiment 162, Division 9 of Xinjiang Reclamation Army. The officers took Mr. Du to the police department and held him in custody. The officers also took possession of his personal computer and other valuables. It has been learned that Mr. Du has suffered brutal treatment and unlawful interrogation.

Mr. Yang Dejun is a practitioner who lives at Dehao Villas on East Linyuan Road in Futian District, Shenzhen City. On November 9, 2006, he was taken to the Luohu Detention Center on charges that his son had distributed truth-clarifying materials. On December 8, he was transferred to a different location for continued persecution. His family has been denied any visitation.

An elderly Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Liu Jinping, who lives in Changqing Garden, and practitioner Ms. Li Meifang, who lives in Minhang Neighborhood, went out together on the morning of November 29, 2006, and neither has ever returned. It is possible that they were arrested.

In March 2004, practitioner Mr. Liu Qingshui from the Qiaokou District, who has been arrested many times before, was sentenced to three years in prison by the Hanyang District Court and was taken to the Fanjiatai Prison located in Shayang City, Hubei Province, in June 2004. His family was deprived the right to visit him until October 2004, when they were allowed to see each other for 15 minutes through a window.

On October 23, 2006, Qiaokou District 610 Office agents took Mr. Liu Qingshui directly from Fanjiatai Prison to the Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center located in the Jianghan District. Three practitioners arrested on November 2, 2006 from a Falun Dafa materials center have all been secretly transferred. Among these three, Mr. Xiang Lin from Huaying City went on hunger strike on November 26, 2006, at the Huaying City Detention Center. He is now very weak. Police took him to the Chuanzhong Hospital located in the Gaoping District, Nanchong City, on December 11, 2006, without notifying his family. Mr. Xiang's life is in danger.

Practitioners Ms. Ding Yuerong and Mr. Zeng Geping, who are both from Guang'an City, have been taken to unknown places.

In November, practitioners Mr. Dai Hongxiang and Ms. Zhu Juan were arrested, and they are now detained in the Jiupu Detention Center in Hangzhou City. Recently, practitioners Ms. Lou Qinlan and two others were arrested. They are now detained in the Xiaoshan District Detention Center in Hangzhou City.

The guards in the Hefei Women's Forced Labor Camp are still severely mistreating detained practitioners. Practitioner Ms. Liu Yun, 46, who firmly holds onto her faith, was tortured by being deprived of sleep and insulted in front of a large group. She now has a blurry mind due to the brutal torture, but the guards refuse to allow her family to visit her.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Suqing, in her 60s, is from the Baiyun District, Guangzhou City. On December 7, 2006, she was arrested when clarifying the truth in the Sanyuanli Neighborhood, and she had her home ransacked by policemen from the Baiyun District Department, Jingtai Street Station, and the Jingtai Street Neighborhood Administration. On the early morning of December 11, 2006, policemen from the Xi District Mine Station in Panzhihua City arrested practitioners Ms. Hu Xiufen and Ms. Liu Xiuzhen. At 1:30 a.m. on the same morning, policemen Dou Tongqiang and three other officers ransacked Ms. Hu's home and took away her Falun Dafa books.

At 12:30 p.m., on December 12, 2006, policeman Dou Tongqiang lead six or seven officers to practitioner Ms. Nie Rongqin's home and took away her computer, printer, Falun Dafa books, and truth-clarifying materials. They arrested Ms. Nie Rongqin. Currently, all three practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.

After a long period of hiding and chasing, one day in the middle of November 2006, State Security Agents from the Anshun City and Xixiu District Police Departments drove about seven vehicles to arrest seven practitioners from Yunma Airplane Factory, which is one hour away from downtown Anshun City.

Among these seven practitioners, Ms. Zhou Zhijun was robbed of her photo of Master, Falun Dafa books, an MP3 player, 500 yuan in cash and 500 yuan worth of cigarettes from her family-owned store.

Practitioner Zhang's (first name and gender unknown) home was also ransacked, and policemen took away more than 20 Falun Dafa books, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and Who is Jiang. Practitioner Zhang is under custody in the Factory Security Office now.

On December 8, 2006, practitioners Ms. Kan Xiujuan and Ms. Guan Fengxia were both taken from the Duli District Detention Center in Daqing City to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City. They were both sentenced to 18 months of forced labor.

On December 11, 2006, police ransacked practitioner Ms. Peng Yunhua's home. Ms. Peng was not home, so she avoided being arrested.

On December 12, 2006, police arrested practitioners Ms. Liu Pinhong and Ms. Wang Lingyun and took away their computer, printer, and printing materials.

On December 11, 2006, practitioner Ms. Zhang Xinyi was expelled from the CCP and dismissed from her teacher's job as a government employee.

Practitioners detained in Jiangxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp are forced to do heavy labor for more than ten hours per day. Sometimes they are only allowed to sleep three or four hours. This even includes practitioners in their 60s.

At around 8:00 p.m., on December 12, 2006, State Security agents from each District Police Department arrested many practitioners. We know that at least six practitioners on Beian Street, including Mr. Xiao Zuguang, were arrested.

Recently, practitioners detained in Dashaping Prison have gone on hunger strikes one by one to protest their illegal imprisonments. Mr. Yang Xuegui has been on a hunger strike since July 5, 2006, which was more than five months ago. He is being force-fed once or twice per day.

On December 11, 2006, the Potou City Court sentenced practitioner Mr. Wang Shuiyong to five to seven years in prison. The court did not allow Mr. Wang's family to defend him, nor did they allow them to display evidence on how Potou City State Security Agent Zhao Dongsheng fabricated evidence to frame the practitioner.
