Ms. Li Xiuying Sentenced Again in Chongqing City

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xiuying lives in Yuzhong District, Chongqing City, and she has been detained many times under the persecution. In May 2000, she was tortured brutally while being detained in the Maojiashan Women's Labor Camp. In October 2001, Ms. Li was released from the camp, but in January 2002, he was arrested again and sentenced to four years in prison. This time she was cruelly tortured in the Yongchuan Women's Prison until her life was in danger. She was bailed out for medical treatment on April 8, 2004.

In October 2005, Ms. Li Xiuiying was arrested along with five other practitioners. The police ransacked her home and detained her in the Liziba Detention Center located in Yuzhong District. The Yuzhong District Court put her on open trial three times without any guilty verdict or sentence. The CCP later secretly sentenced her to three years in prison. Ms. Li Xiuying appealed immediately, but the Chongqing City Middle Court upheld the sentencing. Ms. Li is now detained in the Chongqing City Women's Prison located in Yongchuan City.
