(Clearwisdom.net) La Jolla is a famous ocean-side tourist spot in southern California. On December 3, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from San Diego were once again invited to participate in the annual La Jolla Christmas parade.

Being the only group in which the majority of the participants were Chinese-Americans, and with their rich oriental culture, the Falun Gong procession was a focus of the parade. From the grandeur of the waist drums, the beautiful float, the peaceful exercise demonstration to the elegant dancing girls, the Falun Gong procession won applause and cheers wherever they went. People called out, "Falun Dafa is great!" Many spectators called the dancing young practitioners, "heavenly maidens."
A little girl was attracted by the peaceful exercises and began to learn the movements by following along with the practitioners. Her mother heard a practitioner's introduction of the exercises and smiled to encourage the girl.
Several practitioners were handing out truth-clarification materials to spectators along the parade route so people could learn the beauty of Falun Dafa and also learn about the cruel persecution of Falun Gong in China. Yangyong is only four years old but he has participated in Dafa activities since infancy. Today, he ran here and there to pass out the fliers.
Congresswoman Susan Davis and Mayor of San Diego Jerry Sanders also participated in the parade. After the parade, people were still immersed in the beauty and peace of Dafa and many said, "Falun Gong is great," when they walked by the practitioners. Some wanted to have their photo taken with the practitioners.
The Falun Gong practitioners from San Diego hope that all kindhearted people of the world will come to know the beauty of Falun Dafa and have a beautiful future.
