Incidents That Were Frightening But Not Dangerous

Many Falun Dafa practitioners may have encountered situations that were frightening but not dangerous. I have experienced many such situations. I will not describe those that happened long ago but will just mention two incidents that occurred recently.

One day I went out to clarify the truth and save sentient beings. I was riding my bike along the side path of the main road and was about to pass the exit for a small district. Just then a taxicab pulled out. In the opposite direction, another taxicab was also coming towards me. Immediately I decided to get off my bike, but I fell with the bike onto the road, face up. The taxicab driving towards me ran over my left shoulder and just barely missed my head. The cab did not stop and quickly drove away. Someone came to help me get up, saying, "That was really dangerous." The person also scolded the cab driver for his lack of conscience and for leaving the scene of the accident without even stopping to check on me. When he inquired as to how I was I told him, "No problem. I practice Falun Dafa and I am protected by our Teacher." I enlightened to the fact that this incident was meant to take my life away, but Teacher was there to protect me and allowed me to pay off the karmic debt. I got up and continued to clarify the truth. That day five people came up to me to put down their names for the "Three Withdrawals" from the CCP, the Youth League, and the Little Red Guard.

Our local police officers recently gathered for a meeting at which they were ordered to increase their intensity in persecuting Falun Dafa. Almost every road under construction has police cars parked at either end to monitor people and traffic. Sometimes the police are in unmarked cars. One day I noticed the workers who were digging a channel in front of a cluster of newly constructed buildings. I rode my bike over intending to clarify the truth. When I got there, I realized that there were too many people and also that there were supervisors monitoring everyone, so I decided to leave. At the end of the road, I saw a small, parked bus. I knocked on the door of the bus and someone inside rolled down the window and asked, "What's the matter?" I said with a compassionate and peaceful smile, "Do you know the truth about Falun Dafa?" He raised his arm to show me his armband. Alas, he was a police officer! I immediately said, "Then I will tell you the truth." He said, "Dayi (Auntie), forget it! You should go quickly!" I then left.

Through studying the Fa, I have realized that saving sentient beings is a great responsibility bestowed on us by history. I have been finding all kinds of ways to save sentient beings, and my attachment to fear has lessened. Almost 800 people have given me their names for the "Three Withdrawals." I have never encountered any police officers until today, but he did not do anything to harm me. Teacher has taught in the "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005." "Who should actually be afraid of whom?" Isn't it truly so!
