Mr. Wang Mingduo Suffers Severe Persecution at the Hands of Cangzhou City State Security Chief Liu Kanhua

Liu Kanhua, the head of the State Security Division of the Canal District Police Department of Cangzhou City, has been persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners since 2002. He has been brutally persecuting good people who believe in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, as well as their family members, targeting their spirit, bodies and finances.

At about 9:00 p.m. on November 23, 2005, forty-four year old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Mingduo from Cangzhou City was on his way home when policemen suddenly arrested him. Three to four police officers dragged and pushed him forcibly into the police car and took him to the Nanhuan Police Station. Two days later, Liu Kanhua, without notifying Mr. Wang's family or taking any legal procedures, sent Mr. Wang to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City. Because the forced labor camp refused to take Mr. Wang, Liu and his people begged for a long time until the forced labor camp reluctantly agreed to temporarily keep Mr. Wang there for them.

Mr. Wang went on a hunger strike the first day he was arrested. As a result his life was in danger. The Kaiping Forced Labor Camp was afraid to take any responsibility, so they called Liu many times to urge him to take Mr. Wang away. Liu either refused to accept the calls or used all kinds of excuses to put it off. Mr. Wang's wife went to appeal to Liu for her husband, but Liu still used all kinds of excuses to put off releasing Mr. Wang.

Because Mr. Wang's life was in danger and the forced labor camp in Tangshan city was afraid to take any responsibility, Wang Mingduo was sent home on January 25, 2006. By then Mr. Wang's had lost his previous appearance. Before his body was chubby, but after being in the forced labor camp, he was only skin and bones. He no longer has the strength to sit up, but can only lie down. His family members were all very sad upon seeing him like this. Even though Mr. Wang was so weak, the forced labor camp in Tangshan City used an open-roofed vehicle to transport him. They put Mr. Wang in the open-roofed back part of the vehicle. Mr. Wang was wearing very thin clothing, and he was exposed to the freezing air for four to five hours before he got home.
