New York: Practitioners Condemn the Chinese Communist Party Violence and Criminal Activities (Photos)

At noon on February 8, CCP thugs forced their way into Dr. Yuan Li's home, pistol whipped him and caused severe cuts and bruises to his face. Dr. Li studied at Tsinghua University in China and came to the United States to pursue his Ph.D. degree. After graduation, he worked at Bell Laboratories for many years and holds more than 20 patents. Dr. Li said that he began practicing Falun Gong after careful consideration and that the practice helped him to understand many unknowns in science. A spokesperson said, "Dr. Yuan Li won a scholarship to come to the United States to study. He is a kind scholar. After practicing Falun Gong, he became even more humble and kind. Beginning on July 20, 1999, the CCP has brutally persecuted Falun Gong for more than six years. Like tens of thousands of practitioners, Dr. Li follows the principles of Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance and works very hard to clarify the truth of Falun Gong. During the last six years, more and more governments and people have learned the facts about Falun Gong, and more and more people have started practicing Falun Gong. Falun Gong has spread all over the world. The facts of Falun Gong have also broken through the information blockade of the CCP and spread across China. The CCP is moving towards its demise among its own lies and violence."

The spokesperson said, "Yesterday, CCP thugs forced their way into US citizen Dr. Yuan Li's home and assaulted him with a gun. This incident demonstrates the CCP's irrational state in its final stage. The CCP's evil action can only hasten its own demise."

Mr. Yufeng Liang from the Coalition for the Global Public Trial of Jiang Zemin, and Mr. Dayong Li from Global Service Center for Quitting CCP gave speeches to condemn the CCP's terrorist actions. They called on those working for the CCP to quit and those working in Chinese embassies and consulates to quit the CCP as soon as possible. Many practitioners participating in the gathering said, "The CCP agents' assault of Dr. Li was designed to intimidate Falun Gong practitioners and undermine practitioners' truth-clarification efforts. We strongly condemn the CCP's shameless violence. We will expose the CCP's crimes even more extensively to the world and help all circles know about the CCP's true evil nature. The gangster methods of the CCP will only demonstrate its foolishness and hasten its demise."

Representatives of the Epoch Times and several other groups also participated in the gathering and condemned the CCP's violence.
