Practitioner Ren Xingde Has Been Tortured For Eleven Months

(Clearwisdom.net) One day in March 2005 someone reported Mr. and Mrs. Ren Xingde from Bozhou, Anhui Province, to the authorities while they were posting truth-clarification materials. Officers from the Sanguan Town police station arrested both of them. After extorting 3000 yuan from the couple, the station released Mrs. Ren. Due to his refusal to reveal the source of the materials, the 610 Office has been interrogating and torturing Mr. Ren every day for over 11 months.

The 610 officers Wang Jiusan, Shi Xinmin, Yuan Lei, and Guan Xianbin came to Sanguan Town to persecute Mr. and Mrs. Ren. They were both handcuffed so tightly that marks formed on their skin and both of them were beaten brutally with a leather belt.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Ren were hung by their arms when they refused to reveal their source, Mr. Ren for seven days and nights and his wife for one full day. The police officers pounded his head and punched him until his head was bleeding and his face and head were swollen. As a result, he remained unconscious for several days.

During this time, the villagers delivered food to him but he was still unconscious. He was transferred to a detention center after seven days. As he was being transported to another facility, the officers threatened to throw him into the river and falsely report his suicide if he didn't reveal his source of materials.

The officers continued to interrogate and persecute the couple while they were in the detention center. They then transferred them to another center again two weeks later. They force-fed Mr. Ren since he had been on hunger strike to protest the persecution ever since his arrest.

After strong protests and three-month-long negotiations by the family, friends and relatives, the police station asked for 3000 yuan in exchange for Mrs. Ren's release.

As they have for over 11 months, the 610 Office agents continue to interrogate and torture Mr. Ren every day. Mr. Ren maintains his firm belief in Dafa.

We are calling on people of conscience to work together to secure Mr. Ren's release.
