United Kingdom: Practitioners Celebrate Chinese New Year in Central London (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners held a show to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Leicester Gardens near Chinatown in London on February 4, 2006. Practitioners performed a Lion Dance, played musical instruments, and performed other dances and songs. They also demonstrated the peaceful Falun Gong exercises. The audience and practitioners enjoyed the festival atmosphere and the beauty of traditional Chinese culture.

Practitioners also distributed fliers to let people know about the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). There were English and Chinese people among the spectators, and many of them accepted the fliers and read them carefully.

Practitioners believe that when more and more people learn and understand the facts of the persecution, the propaganda of the CCP will have less and less of an effect on people's minds, and the persecution will then end.
