(Clearwisdom.net) In September 2005, the Falun Dafa practitioners in our local area coordinated as a group to rescue a female practitioner who was imprisoned. I would like to discuss how we improved our xinxing while rescuing this practitioner.

On the day that this practitioner's relatives went to the prison demanding her immediate release, local practitioners went there also and sent forth righteous thoughts in close proximity or sent forth righteous thoughts from their homes.

Several days later, we heard that the prison did not release the practitioner. I thought since we were not able to rescue her there must be some problem with our "xinxing". I reflected on myself but could not find the problem. A couple of days later, Master enlightened me through a practitioner's article published in "Minghui Weekly." When I received the news regarding the rescue of our fellow practitioner, my first thought was, "I must get her out." The thought appeared quite righteous, but it was not based on the Fa. Deep down there was selfishness behind it, as I put myself first. Since I want to validate myself instead of Dafa, the result was predictable.

The local practitioners expressed their opinions. One practitioner who cultivates with his celestial eye open stated that the conditions in the practitioner's home were not good. There were bad things in her home. Someone else said that if the fellow practitioner did not have righteous thoughts inside the prison then whatever we did outside would be a waste.

I suddenly remembered the rescue we carried out in the spring of 2003. The practitioner was on a hunger strike and was sent to the hospital where the persecution continued. A group of us sent forth righteous thoughts to rescue him. After two weeks, someone asked whether we were still sending forth righteous thoughts. Some of them said that they had forgotten and others had stopped. I made up my mind that no matter what others did, I would keep sending righteous thoughts until he was free. Several months later, another practitioner came to tell me that the practitioner walked out of the hospital with his righteous thoughts. I was deeply moved, I witnessed the power of Dafa.

No matter what conditions the practitioner has in prison, no matter what others think of her, she is a disciple of Dafa and Master and that is enough. I would keep sending forth righteous thoughts until she was free. At that moment, I felt a loud "tong" from my head to my feet. The strong righteous thoughts shook the surroundings of my universe. I thought, "Since you are all beings of my universe, please send righteous thoughts with me until she comes out.

Master enlightened me from the Fa once more. Master granted me the mighty power; I should use it to rescue the practitioners who are illegally detained. As long as there is one practitioner in prison I will keep sending righteous thoughts. The more practitioners that are able to walk out of the prison with righteous thoughts, the more sentient beings they will be able to save.
