1. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhou Fengying Was Arrested by the Police and Was Sentenced to Three Years in a Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Zhou Fengying from Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, was born in 1968. On January 5, 2006, she was unlawfully arrested by the Nanshan District Public Security Bureau of Shenzhen City, and she was sentenced to a forced labor camp at Sanshui, Guangdong Province for three years. It is said that Ms. Zhou Fengying has been on hunger strike ever since she was arrested up until this time. During this time, when her family asked to visit her in person, the police refused them.

Mr. Bian Changxue, 42 years old, is a resident of Shilituo Village, Sanshuitou Town, Yutian County, Hebei Province. He was reported to the police by his neighbor Yang Shihua, and the Sanshuitou Police Substation then arrested him at 8:00 am on January 24, 2006. Two computers and a copying machine were confiscated from his home. In the same afternoon, the police of the Yutian County Public Security Bureau arrested Mr. Bian Changxue and detained him in the Yutian County Public Security Bureau building.

3. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Guo Shuzhen from the Dongli District of Harbin City Is Currently Being Jailed Unlawfully at the No. 2 Detention Center of the City

Ms. Guo Shuzhen from the Dongli District Harbin City was arrested on November 2, 2005 by the city public security bureau and is now being jailed in the No. 2 Detention Center of Harbin City. It is only known that Ms. Guo Shuzhen was sentenced to the forced labor camp for one and a half years. Since she had some symptoms of illness, she was not sent away.

4. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners, Ms. Wang Ling and Wang Jun Were Arrested

In the evening on January 25, 2006, Ms. Wang Ling and Wang Jun from Majiadian Town were turned in when they were clarifying the truth. They were arrested by police from the Donggang City Public Security Bureau, and are now being jailed at the detention center of the Donggang City Public Security Bureau.

5. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xin Minduo Was Illegally Sentenced to Thirteen Years Imprisonment

The couple Mr. Xin Minduo and Ms. Bao Juncen from Panjin City were arrested for practicing Falun Gong. Without any legal procedures, the court notified their family on December 27, 2005 that Mr. Xin Minduo was sentenced to thirteen years imprisonment. Since there was not enough evidence against his wife Ms. Bao Juncen, she was found not guilty.

6. [Sichuan Province] The Dongqu Court of Panzhihua City Held a Trial against Ms. Zhang Peiyun, Which Was Cut Short

At 9:15 am on January 24, 2006, the Dongqu Court of Panzhihua City held a trial against Ms. Zhang Peiyun. Before trial began, the judge ordered the police to drag Ms. Zhang Peiyun's husband (who is over 70 years old) and his daughter away. The trial was cut short after protests from court observers.

Ms. Song Wanxia, who is over 50 years old, was sentenced to a forced labor camp by the Yutai police. Ms. Liu Hua, who is over 40 years old, was sent to a brainwashing center and has since been tortured there, after her family spent several thousand yuan to persuade the authorities not to send her to a labor camp.

The Gongbei Police Substation of Zhuhai and the Zhuhai 610 Office arrested Mr. An Yajun and Ms. Liu Chunhong on July 23, 2005. Mr. An Yajun is still being jailed at Zhuhai No. 1 Detention Center. Ms. Liu Chunhong was sentenced to one year in a labor camp. On December 31, 2005, she walked out of the forced labor camp and went home with righteous thoughts.

12. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Tang Zhulong and Ms. Xie Yunlan Were Arrested by the Public Security Bureau

Mr. Tang Zhulong and Ms. Xie Yunlan from Longkou City were arrested in the evening on January 29, 2006 by the Longkou City Public Security Bureau and by two policemen from the local 610 Office named Tian Jun and Wang Qi

13. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Practitioners Including Ms. Wang Ai'qin Were Arrested

On around January 16, 2006, the police of Guan County, Shandong Province illegally searched and arrested Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners directly being sent to the Guan County Jail included Ms. Wang Ai'qin, Ms. Yang Zhaolin from Xucun, Ganguantun Village, Ms. Ni Nujun from the Agricultural Bank, Ms. Zhang Lianfang from Magu Wanshan Village, and Zhang Shulian from Xinji Village. Mr. Wang Baohe was sent to the 610 office's brainwashing session, and several others were forced to leave home and become destitute.
