Truth Clarification Phone Calls Alarm Lawless Officials in the Hanshan District of Handan City

Police from the Luochengtou Police Station in the Hanshan District of Handan City in Hebei Province arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Shunying from the Luochengtou No. 3 Courtyard District at 8:00 p.m. on the evening of December 15, 2005. After this occurred, Falun Dafa practitioners from inside and outside of China cooperated in a timely fashion to expose the persecution and clarify the truth. This greatly alarms those who participate in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.

According to the staff members who work in the Hanshan District Police Department, the police were frightened by the phone calls. They said, "We can no longer arrest any Falun Gong practitioners, since only one day after we arrested her (Ms. Li Shunying), we have already received so many truth clarification phone calls from Hong Kong, inside of China, and outside of China."

These phone calls made the police officers feel guilty as well as frightened. They even suspected that Ms. Li Shunying had relatives in Hong Kong. Those who participated in the persecution of Ms. Li include Lu Yinghai (male), Fan Hongjian (male) and Gao Jun (male) from the Hanshan District Police Department and Hu Xiliang (male) from the Luochengtou Police Station.

The police extorted 13,000 yuan from Ms. Li Shunying before she was released. In 2002, police officer Lu Yinghai (male) and others ransacked practitioner Huang's house and extorted 20,000 yuan without giving a receipt.
