(Clearwisdom.net) On January 29, two practitioners from southeast England participated in the biannual "Tough Guy" Competition in Birmingham. The competition was held in the countryside, including Country Miles and Twenty Obstacles. The whole course is about 8 miles long.

Two practitioners demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises before the competition started

The two practitioners saw the competition as a good opportunity to raise awareness of the ongoing persecution in China. Several weeks before the event, they started to distribute fliers and told people that they would participate in the competition in order to let the public know about the persecution of Falun Gong. On the day of the competition, some practitioners also went to support the two participants. They displayed banners which attracted many people's interest, allowing the practitioners to tell more people about the persecution.

Another practitioner videotaped the 3-hour-long competition in order to make a documentary. The film will emphasize the hardships endured by the two practitioners, comparing it with the suffering of practitioners in China. The film will also feature interviews with practitioners who have been persecuted in China and an introduction to Falun Gong.
