Germany: The People of Saarbrucken Say "No" to the Persecution of Falun Gong (Photos)
By a practitioner in Germany
(Clearwidom.net) On Saturday morning, February 11, 2006, Falun Gong
practitioners met outside a department store to prepare for an information day
in the Saarbrucken pedestrian zone. At the time, the area was not very busy. The objective of the activity was to expose the Chinese communist regime's
criminal scheming against Falun Gong practitioners to the passersby. The peaceful Dafa music from the CD player's loudspeaker created a harmonious
environment. With practitioners' gentle exercise demonstration the entire area
was harmonious with a pure energy field. With this as a foundation, passersby
were given the opportunity to learn more about the cultivation system and the
facts of the irrational persecution in China. During the day's activities, practitioners collected signatures calling for
the release of Renzheng Jiang, who was deported from Germany and sentenced to
three years of forced labor. The practitioners also collected petition
signatures to call for an end to the persecution of the innocent children of
Falun Gong practitioners suffering because the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
persecuted their parents. As the day progressed, more and more people passed through the area. Many of
them accepted flyers from practitioners and others went immediately to the Falun
Gong booth to sign the petitions. "May we also sign the petition?" asked two young girls. They signed
the petition and promised to bring their mother along later so she could also
express her opposition to the persecution. An elderly lady accepted a flyer and wanted to learn more about the situation
in China. At the end of the conversation she asked, with tears in her eyes, what
she could do to bring an end to the persecution. The practitioners explained
about the petition, and she immediately signed it. A young woman walked resolutely towards the booth. "Please understand
that I clearly know what a persecution can do to people," she said with a
friendly look in her eyes. "I'm a Kurd." She asked to sign the
petition, accepted a flyer and a bookmark and then left. Practitioners experienced touching encounters again and again. Some of the
practitioners felt that they knew the people they were talking with for a long
time even though they talked for brief periods, because of the openness of the
exchanges. The streets were filled with people carrying shopping bags, mothers with
babies, families with children, the young and the elderly. All passed by the
information booth and became aware of our activities. At times, some of the
passersby had to wait in line to sign the petition, because so many people
wanted to sign it. Yet, everything remained calm and everyone waited patiently. Practitioners distributed flyers tirelessly. This was the first time that a
Russian practitioner joined us for our activities. She felt a little unsure, as
her German was not the best, but it did not take long for her face to light up
while giving the passersby the informational materials. At around 4:00 p.m. the crowd was thinning and the practitioners closed down
the booth. They affectionately said goodbye to each other and everyone went
their own way until the next activity. Five practitioners shared insights and
experiences afterwards during dinner, and planned the next activity. All knew
that many people were waiting to hear the truth about Falun Gong and the
persecution that practitioners are suffering in China. Source: http://www.clearharmony.net/articles/200602/31676.html
