Earlier this month, the whereabouts of the secret Chinese Sujiatun
concentration camp was revealed by a former intelligence agent of the Chinese
government. The camp is said to hold 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners and none who
entered have ever come out. The camp harvests their internal organs and sells

The following is a statement by Lord Avebury, Vice Chairman and founder of
the UK Parliamentary Human Rights Group. The statement was read at a press
conference about Sujiatun on Monday March 13th.
It is shocking to hear the allegation that a secret concentration camp in
Sujiatun, Shenyang, China, has detained over 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners, and
it has been engaged in the harvesting of human organs from those imprisoned
Falun Gong practitioners.
This practice of murdering people who peacefully exercise their freedom of
belief and expression, and selling their organs for profit, if true, is the most
barbarous and inhuman behavior, totally unacceptable in today's world.
The international community and the UK government should investigate these
allegations and speak up loudly to condemn such brutality rather than keep quiet
for commercial or political gains. This matter should be discussed at the
forthcoming meeting of the UN Human Rights Commission.
