Practitioner Mr. Yang Pinggang Illegally on Trial by Taishan District Court

On the morning of February 16, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Pinggang was illegally put on trial in the Taishan District Court of Tai'an City, Shandong Province. Mr. Yang appealed, citing how he had been inhumanely tortured. He had endured three whole days of cruel beatings and being force-fed a bottle of liquor. When he was very drunk, the authorities obtained false statements from him and made him fingerprint the interrogation recordings. The CCP has already decided to sentence him to six years in prison for "propagandizing in opposition to the government." Mr. Yang has been detained for more than seven months, and he is appealing to the higher court to be released since he is innocent.
