(Clearwisdom.net) A Falun Gong practitioner named Arezoo from Cambridge visited her friend in Preston, she found no Dafa practitioners, but many Chinese students there. Therefore she decided to visit local councillors and university libraries to distribute Chinese newspapers. She got a reply letter from a local councillor, Mr. Bhikhu Patel, not long ago.

The councillor said in the letter that:

"Further to our meeting in my office recently, I write in support of your campaign to have freedom to follow your own religious belief. You are campaigning to raise the awareness of the persecution of your fellow believers in Falun Gong belief."

"The European Convention on Human Rights Article 9 guarantees freedom of thought and religion and I firmly believe that everyone should have the freedom wherever they live."

"I wish you well in your campaign to raise awareness in the European society."
