Officials at a Laixi City Middle School in Qingdao Conspire with the Police to Persecute Practitioner Ms. Hu Keling

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Hu Keling is 42 years old and was a teacher at a Laixi City Middle School in Qingdao, Shandong Province. A student's parent reported her for clarifying the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. On December 30, 2005, officers from the Qingdao Road Police Station in Laixi City illegally arrested and took her to the police station where they detained her for seven days. She held a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

On the morning of January 21, 2006, officers from the Qingdao Road Police Station and two plainclothes police officers arrested Hu Keling and sent her to the Qingdao Road Police Station. The police forcefully handcuffed her and injured her wrists in the process. Wang Hong, a woman from Laixi City Police Department, Zhou, Li and three other young officers from Qingdao Road Police Station took Hu Keling to the Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City. The detention center authorities refused to admit Hu Keling because her blood pressure was too high. They sent Hu Keling home.

On February 16, 2006, the middle school was pressured to fire Hu Keling and pay her a mere 380 yuan a month.
