From Two New Practitioners in Hebei Province: "Falun Gong Gave Me a New Lease on Life"

I am a resident of Wei County, Hebei Province. I had the enormous good fortune to obtain the Fa at the end of 2004. It was Falun Gong and compassionate Teacher that gave me a new lease on life.

Before I started practicing Falun Gong, my health had been deteriorating. In the summer of 2004, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo surgery. My family and I were shocked when we heard the bad news. As Chinese farmers, we are already poor. The medical expenses would take a toll on our finances. Later I agreed to have my breasts removed on the advice of the medical doctor, my family, my relatives, and my friends. Afterwards, I underwent several radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Consequently, I lost all of my hair.

I was in the depths of despair because of the accompanying physical and psychological agony, which was beyond description. When I was feeling without hope, a good friend of mine came to visit me and told me about Falun Gong, its miraculous healing power, and the importance of improving one's character. That was when I started to understand what Falun Gong really is and when I decided to start my journey to return to my true self.

My health and character underwent enormous improvements after I started to read Zhuan Falun and practice the Falun Gong exercises. In fact, I am a completely changed woman! I used to be a very narrow-minded, unforgiving woman that held grudges forever, but now I have become very thoughtful of others. Once I started to conduct myself according to the universal principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," my health drastically improved. All of my ailments disappeared. I know it is Teacher and Falun Gong that have saved my life. I cannot possibly do justice to describing my joy with words.

As for those who still misunderstand Falun Gong and have fallen prey to the evil Chinese Communist Party's lies, please try to understand Falun Gong, talk to Falun Gong practitioners and read Zhuan Falun. The book Zhuan Falun will resolve all your doubts and questions and teach you how to become a better person. I truly feel as though joy and peace have landed from Heaven.

Before I started practicing Falun Gong, I suffered from severe chronic bronchitis. I was tormented by it since my early 50s. In fact, I was so ill that I couldn't continue farming. Every cloudy or rainy day, I would pant and gasp for air. For the past few years, I continued to suffer even though I took medicine up to six times a day. I had to carry the medicine bottle with me at all times. I even put the bottle next to my pillow when I went to bed so that I could reach it when my bronchitis surfaced.

In addition, I suffered from hemorrhoids and prostatitis. I was prone to heat exhaustion in the summer and colds in the winter. I also frequently suffered from nasal congestion. These ailments had been tormenting me for years. I felt I was struggling with death and often felt I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

I obtained the Fa in the spring of 2005, just when I was in complete despair. Because of Falun Gong cultivation practice, the ailments that had been tormenting me subsided little by little. In less than two months, I could go without any medicine because I had become completely healthy. From the bottom of my heart, I feel the magnificence and miracle of Falun Gong. It is Falun Gong that has saved my life. More importantly, I now have a completely different view on life and worldly pursuits. Because of Falun Gong, I now know the truth of life. I am able to see the light and hope of life.

This is a brief summary of my cultivation practice over the past year. I am telling the truth. I would be violating the principle of Truthfulness if I were to lie in any way. Through the past year of cultivation practice, my health and character have been greatly enhanced. I am unable to describe my gratitude for Teacher, who has given me a new lease on life. There is nothing greater than Falun Gong in the universe. It is capable of transforming a depraved man into a good one. It is capable of turning a dying man such as myself into a healthy person. There is nothing more righteous than Falun Gong. The evil CCP's persecution of Falun Gong is completely wrong. I hope that those who have misunderstandings about Falun Gong will hurry to learn the truth about Falun Gong. If you believe that Falun Gong is good, you shall have a wonderful future.
