Ms. Zhou Guilan Arrested by Policemen from the Babaishang Department

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhou Guilan is in her 60s and lives alone in 3-4 Building #4-301, Babaishang Block, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. At around 3:00 p.m. on February 26, 2006, policemen arrested her at home. They cut the electricity first, then stormed into her apartment when she came out to check the plugs, ransacking her place.

Ms. Zhou Guilan's daughter and son (both married) went to the police department every day for three days to request visitation with their mother, but they were refused. The fourth day, policemen gave Ms. Zhou Guilan's sweater and sweatpants to her children, saying that Ms. Zhou was in the detention center and not allowed to wear her own sweats. It was still very cold, and the police refused to allow them to send her warm clothes. They could only buy warm clothes from the detention center store. Ms .Zhou Guilan has been on hunger strike to protest the illegal detention.

Ms. Zhou Guilan's husband died young, and she lives a hard life. She disciplines herself according to the standards of a cultivator, always thinking about others first. She is sincere, kind, and tolerant and is considered a very well-received and good person. Such a good person was arrested and detained.
