Three Practitioners in Liaoning Province Pass Away Due to Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Yang Zhizhong, in his fifties, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from the Huanren County Forestry Bureau in Liaoning Province. Since 1999, he was repeatedly arrested and illegally detained, and was also sentenced to two years of forced labor. He was brutally tortured and subjected to brainwashing in the Drug Rehabilitation Center in Benxi City. After Mr. Yang was released from the prison, he made Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials in Huanren County and traveled between Huanren County and Benxi City. In 2003, during the time when SARS was spreading, he was arrested and sentenced to severe punishment. In the forced labor camp, he was subjected to brutal torture and brainwashing. His mind and body suffered extreme damage. When he was released home, he had already lost a lot of weight and was at his last breath. He passed away in January 2006.

Ms. Li Jing, in her seventies, was a Falun Dafa practitioner who worked as an elementary school teacher of Huanren County in Liaoning Province. In the spring of 2000, she went to Beijing City to appeal and was arrested by police who took her away and illegally held her in the local detention center and brainwashing center. In addition, the school retained her retirement salary. She was subjected to a series of different forms of harassment. Her mind and body were badly damaged and she passed away in January 2006.

Mr. Han Xizhong, in his fifties, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Xiaoenbu Village, Erhulai Town, Huanren County in Liaoning Province. In the spring of 2000, he went to Beijing City with more than ten Falun Dafa practitioners in the village to validate the Fa, but was arrested on his way to Beijing and sent back to the local detention center. There he was subjected to a brutal torture method, "Five Horses Splitting a Body," (1) for two days and two nights. Subsequently, he was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor and was held in the Drug Rehabilitation Center of Benxi City, where he was subjected to brutal torture and brainwashing. His mind and heart were severely hurt. After he was released home, he passed away in December 2005.

(1) "Five Horses Splitting a Body" - The practitioner's arms are stretched and tied to the top bunk bed. Then the practitioner's legs are split apart and the feet tied to the legs of the bed (over 6 feet apart).
