(Clearwisdom.net) On March 31, Mr. Davis, Canadian Member of Parliament
for Vancouver East district wrote to Minister of Foreign Affairs and urged the
government not to remain silent on the concentration camps for Falun Gong
practitioners in China. In the letter, he wrote: "I urge the Canadian
government to use all measure possible to ensure there is an independent and
objective investigation of these reports, to verify what is the nature of the
detention, extermination and organ harvesting taking place in Suiatun

Dear Minister,
I am concerned about recent reports of an underground prison in Shenyang
City, Liaoning province in China where Falun Gong prisoners of conscience are
being killed and their organs harvested and sold for profit. There are reports
that Sujuatun prison camp holds over 6,000 detainees and is equipped with
crematorium and that no prisoner has been known to leave the facility.
I urge the Canadian government to use all measure possible to ensure there is
an independent and objective investigation of these reports, to verify what is
the nature of the detention, extermination and organ harvesting taking place in
Suiatun prison.
I hope you will agree that Canada cannot remain silent in the face of these
serious reports. I believe it is incumbent on us, to use our influence in the
international community that the International Declaration of Human Rights and
other UN Conventions that prohibit torture, and inhumane treatment and unethical
practices are not being violated.
I would appreciate knowing what you intend to do as Foreign Minister in
taking action in response to these reports.
