Encouragement and Moral Support - A Suggestion for Mainland China Practitioners
By a Falun Dafa practitioner from Inner Mongolia
(Clearwisdom.net) I have twice been arrested, sent to a labor camp, and
later released. Both times when I was released, I found the environment around
me was not good. I am not talking about ordinary people here, because what a
cultivator does is something an ordinary person cannot comprehend. Therefore I
am not concerned at all about what ordinary people think or say about me. I am mostly concerned about our fellow practitioners. After I returned home,
some of them took the initiative to contact me and learn the situation. However,
most fellow practitioners shied away from me, including the local assistants who
I had spent a lot of time with. Even the practitioners who used to come to my
home to study the Fa and do the exercises together seemed to avoid
me. While the evil took advantage of my omissions and twice sent me to a forced
labor camp, my family sustained many financial and emotional losses. We are
often looked down upon. When I returned home, I really wanted to share with
fellow practitioners, improve together, and make up for the loss in cultivation
in the last few years. I had hoped that fellow practitioners could learn from my
experience and make progress together. I also hoped to tell them the truth about
how the labor camps persecuted Dafa practitioners, remind them to study the Fa
more, and walk our paths well. Furthermore, I wanted to discuss how to
clarify the facts better and encourage the strayed practitioners to
return to our group. But I feel like I am in an impasse. Maybe it is also
because of my human attachments, but I feel that it's awkward for me to go visit
other practitioners if they don't contact me, especially if there are
non-practitioners in their families. Even if everyone in the family is a
practitioner, I still don't know what they think of me. Here I would like to raise this issue. The practitioners who have been
released from labor camps urgently need help from fellow practitioners,
especially encouragement and moral support. In addition, the family members of
these practitioners also need help. Some Dafa practitioners have done quite well
in this regard, but others have not. There are so many practitioners who have
not stepped forward, and who have stopped practicing out of fear of the evil.
They all need Dafa practitioners' help. All this can be endured if our spirit is
not defeated, so we especially need moral support from others. I hope all those
who are able to help will pay attention to the issue. This is all I will say.
