Toronto, Canada: Practitioners Rally Demanding An End to the CCP's Atrocities of Stealing Live Organs (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Tuesday, April 11, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in front of the Office Building of Canadian Liberal Party leader Bill Graham. They requested that the largest opposition party in Canada--the Liberal Party, propose a resolution in parliament urging the newly-elected Prime Minister, head of the Conservative Party, Stephen Harper's government to condemn the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of having built more than 36 secret concentration camps and harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They also requested that the government send groups of investigators to comprehensively investigate all forced labor camps and concentration camps in China.

Falun Gong practitioners held banners reading, "Canada: Stop ignoring the CCP's Atrocious Crimes! Our Silence is Killing People!" and "Concentration Camps Found in China, Thousands of Falun Gong Practitioners are Murdered for their Organs."

Bill Graham's office is located on Toronto's famous Bloor Street, and a steady flow of people passed by Falun Gong practitioners' protest banners, truth clarification display boards and reenactment of live organ harvesting. Many people took the flyers and signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution. Some people stopped to learn more about the truth.

An older man passed by, who tightly held the hands of a Falun Gong practitioner and could not speak for a long period of time. He later said in tremble, "I believe all this is true. ... Life is precious." While saying these words, tears ran down his face.

A western man walked to the front of the banners, and when a practitioner was about to explain to him about things happening in China, he took the signature collection board, and while signing his name he said, "You don't need to explain to me, I know your message. In the past years, I have been paying attention to the Falun Gong news. You have done very well, Good Luck!" He then took a flyer and left in a hurry.

A western woman said, "I very much believe that the persecution pictures you have provided are true." She saw the photos of practitioners who have been miserably tortured to death and said, "It is indeed true." She then signed the petition.

Many students passed by. Since they grew up in peaceful Canada, they have seldom seen such vivid ruthless scenes. Many girls covered their faces, but after inquiring and learning about the persecution happening in China, they signed the petition and then left while covering their faces.

Some people read the information on the flyer about the CCP's live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners, and they suggested, "You should collect signatures, so the Canadian government will feel pressure, and may support you."

Some passersby requested several flyers from practitioners and said they would give them to others. A western young man took some flyers and helped practitioners to distribute them. He then brought the remaining flyers back to his office.

The activity also drew the attention of local media. On Monday, two Canadian media outlets, "City TV" and "Now" magazine conducted interviews on the rally.
