By a practitioner in Austria

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 7-9, 2006, the Asian-European finance and economics minister's talk was held in Vienna, Austria. This meeting was a summit for finance and economics ministers of 25 European and 13 Asian countries including China. On the evening of the April 7 and the morning of the 8th and the 9th, Falun Gong practitioners held information day activities outside the front gate of Hofburg and the square to conduct peaceful protests of the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), in particular the harvesting of organs from live practitioners and later burning of the bodies to eliminate the evidence.

Vienna in early spring is particularly beautiful. The capital of music welcomed another high tourism season, and the streets were crowded. The activity by Falun Gong practitioners attracted a large number of visitors who stopped and watched. Graceful exercises and the banners and exhibition boards that revealed the truth of the persecution formed a sharp contrast. When people learned about the acts of the CCP in taking organs from live Falun Gong practitioners at the concentration camps for profit, they were all shocked. A lot of people inquired whether they could sign their names to show support for the practitioners and about ways they could help. A Jewish descendant came over and said that it was no different from the Nazis. He had heard about the news of the persecution of Falun Gong in other places.

A pair of visitors from Germany told the practitioners that they saw activities by Falun Gong practitioners revealing the Sujiatun concentration camp while they were traveling in Hong Kong the previous week. A local resident listened to the practitioner's explanation and then said that people should not go to China.

A young man from China told the practitioners that he and his friends can break through the blockade and see the Chinese websites abroad. They knew the truth of persecution. He said that there was no system of checks and balances. One person has the final say.

A group of tourists from China saw the activity and were surprised at the prevalence of Falun Gong.

On the evening of April 8, Falun Gong practitioners went to the venue for the next meeting, the famous summer palace--the beautiful Schoenbrunn. Opposite the main entrance of palace, the practitioners held banners and slogans, and practiced the auspicious exercises. Cars carrying representatives for the meeting slowly passed by the practitioners. People in the car, with their eyes wide open, saw the banners saying, "The CCP's Sujiatun Concentration Camp Takes Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners." The practitioners originally applied for this activity at 7:30 in the evening, yet the police on duty specifically told the practitioners to arrive at 7 o'clock, otherwise it would be too late.

In the morning of April 9, which was the last day of the meeting, Falun Gong practitioners again appeared at the meeting venue. The representatives of various countries for the conference had another opportunity to see the shocking exhibition boards and banner. They saw Falun Gong practitioners dressed neatly in yellow outfits practice the exercises in a happy and auspicious manner, and repeatedly looked back.

This year Austria is the presiding country of the European Union. Falun Gong practitioners in Austria made more efforts to reveal the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners to the representatives and people in Austria in order to help stop the persecution as soon as possible.
