Circumstances Surrounding the Disappearance of Seven Practitioners

1. Wu Jing from Baishan City, Jilin Province

Wu Jing, 35, was an employee of Hunjiang Travel Agency. She went missing after she went to Beijing to validate Dafa in September 1999. Her husband remarried four years later. Since he only has 300 yuan of income every month, he is not able to raise the daughter he had with Wu Jing. At present, the girl is being taken care of by Wu Jing's grandparents. Wu Jing's grandma does not have a job and her grandpa only has 400 yuan of pension income every month. The elderly couple and the girl are living a very difficult life.

2. Gao Yuanxin from Dalian City, Liaoning Province

Gao Yuanxin, 62, was a retired worker from Lushunkou District Construction Company. He began to practice Falun Gong in 1997. After the persecution started in July 1999, he still went to the park to practice the exercises. As a result he was detained for 15 days. Later, in order to avoid constant harassment from local police and the Street Committee, he was forced to leave home and move from place to place. He has not returned since.

3. Yu Quan from Jilin City, Jilin Province

Yu Quan, 55, was an employee of Plant 250. Her family lives in the residential area of the plant. One morning in mid-September 2004, she went to visit a fellow practitioner and said that she was being followed by someone. After she left that fellow practitioner's home, she went missing. No one knows her whereabouts.

4.& 5. Liang Zhili and Tao Shangzhen from Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province

Both practitioners are from Lianzhou Town, Qingyuan City. Liang Zhili, 35, and Tao Shangzhen, 65, were once illegally arrested in 2000. Later it was learned that they escaped from detention. However, no one knows their whereabouts. Prior to their arrest, they once mentioned that they would go to Beijing to validate the Fa. Their families wondered if they were sent to Sujiatun Concentration Camp after they went to Beijing and refused to disclose their names to the Beijing police.

6. Zhao Lijun from Beijing

Zhao Lijun went missing around November 20, 2005. Her family does not know her whereabouts. It's possible she might have been arrested. Ms. Zhao lives in the jurisdiction of Beixinqiao Police Station in Dongcheng District, Beijing. Wang Xianggang is the political commissioner of the police station, Liu Fushun is the director and Liang Jiexin is the deputy director.

7. Zhang Yuhua from Fushun City, Liaoning Province

Zhang Yuhua is from Liqi Village, Fushun County, Fushun City. She was taken away from her home on April 25, 2005. After inquiring everywhere, her family still cannot locate her.
