By a practitioner in Jinan City, Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) When I heard about the horrible organ harvesting that took place in Sujiatun Death Camp, I was reminded of the practitioners who refused to give their names after being illegally arrested and sent to Beijing Chaoyang District Detention Center. Where are they now? Could they have been sent to Sujiatun? Or are they still trapped and persecuted in other similar evil places? There is one practitioner in particular that I cannot forget, a practitioner whose assigned number was "4128." She was in her 30s and illiterate, but her unshakeable belief in Dafa deeply moved me.

Many of the practitioners sent to Beijing Chaoyang District Detention Center in 2001 refused to give their names, so the police assigned ID numbers to everybody. The practitioners' behavior of safeguarding the Fa in such a grisly environment was really steadfast. Compared to them, I really felt ashamed of myself. Even though I don't know this one practitioner's name, to this day, her compassion, righteous enlightenment and selflessness have stayed in my memory.

This practitioner was from Sichuan Province. She was at least 30 years old. Her ID number was 4128. She went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, and was severely tortured by the police. She was hung upside down for 11 hours consecutively, but could walk as usual when she was allowed down. This surprised the police. An evil policeman was very surprised by what looked like a miracle. He patted her shoulder, and said, "You are great!" I once asked her how such a miracle occurred. She said, "If you don't wholeheartedly believe in the Fa, and can't give up human attachments, you won't be able to understand it." What she said made me feel ashamed, so I began to look inside and cultivate my inner self. The extent of our righteous faith is measured by our ability to face the evil persecution. It knew it would be very difficult to survive such a situation if I didn't have a firm grasp of the Fa principles, strong faith in Teacher, and the habit of looking within and giving up attachments.

The national police wanted to know the practitioner's name and hometown so that they could persecute her there. She did not give her name or any other information. The police were very angry and thought of a very evil method to torture her. She was beat savagely by certain people who had well-known reputations for brutality. The police told these people that they would get a huge amount of money if they could make 4128 reveal her name and hometown. On that very day, the persecutors began to torture her. They first stripped her naked and dragged her to a washroom. They poured 30 basins of icy cold water onto her, but she did not say anything. Next they took her, still naked, outside and into the freezing cold for one hour. She was almost frozen by that point and could hardly move, but she still did not tell them. Then, she was placed beside a wall in a kneeling position, and her arms were forced wide open. That is called "riding an airplane" (1). She still said nothing.

The evil persecutors used all of their methods to persecute her, but could not make her relent. They admired her faith. The head of the torturers said, "Ms. 28, I lose. I give up the reward. Good luck." She only replied, "It doesn't matter for me. Our practitioners will have bright futures. It is you I am worried about. You are still young, but you will receive karmic retribution for what you have done. How will this affect your futures? You should not persecute Falun Gong practitioners." That head persecutor was very evil, but he was still moved by her words. She said that she would not torture others at all from then on. She kept her word and did not torture others later. She found that she lost the energy to beat others. In fact, she suffered from an unknown illness and she could barely breathe. How could she have any energy left to persecute? Practitioner 4128 validated Dafa openly and nobly. Her wide compassion is a common characteristic of Dafa practitioners in the Fa rectification period.

Five years have passed since then. Were you sent to Sujiatun since they had no information about you? Where are you, 4128?

Note:

(1) "Riding an airplane" is a torture method. The victim's head is bent down until it cannot go down any further, while the hands are pulled up and held up to the highest point. The hips have to point up. One is forced to keep this position unchanged for a long time. The body in this position looks like the shape of an airplane, which is how this torture got its name.
