Kansas, U.S.A.: Practitioners Invited to Introduce Falun Gong to the Lawrence Community Religious Alliance (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 27, 2006, practitioners from Kansas were invited to the Lawrence Community Religious Alliance to introduce Falun Gong. The participants were very interested in the peaceful exercises and health benefits of the practice.

We explained the meaning of cultivation practice and talked about the spread of Falun Gong. We then demonstrated the exercises. At first, we were not quite sure if we should just show a couple or all of the exercises. So we asked the participants if they wanted to see all of the exercises, and they gave us an enthusiastic reply, "Yes!"

One woman commented on how graceful the movements were. Meanwhile, the participants were very interested in the health benefits of Falun Gong.

We distributed copies of articles about the brutal assault on Peter Yuan Li and about the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. The discussion topic then naturally changed to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

The workshop participants were a group of very kind people who were very interested in what we talked about, and they asked many questions.

The atmosphere was harmonious and we were told that we could come back anytime. During and after the demonstrations there was a lot of discussion on various topics, from the health benefits of the practice to the nature of the persecution.
