Facts of the Persecution in Guangming Town

In the past seven years, officials from Guangmingshan Town Government (in Zhaunghe City, Liaoning Province), the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Committee, and policemen from the Town Station have followed Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong closely. They have ransacked Falun Dafa practitioners' homes (as many as five times), withheld their personal IDs (to prevent them from leaving town), confiscated their house licenses, and extorted huge sums of money. Thirty-seven practitioners from Guangming Town have been sentenced to prison (up to seven years), sent to forced labor camps (up to three years) and detained.

Sun Jiawei, the town CCP secretary, organized arrests on a large scale. He provided materials and monetary rewards for those who supported the persecution. He was promoted to be the Zhuanghe City Urban Planning Bureau Head.

Shang Jiachen, formerly the town CCP discipline committee secretary, organized the close monitoring of Falun Dafa practitioners, played a role in deceiving practitioners to prisons, compiled fake scriptures, tore up Falun Dafa books and truth clarifying materials, cursed Master Li and slandered Falun Gong. He is the town government civil affairs assistant.

Liu Jie, formerly the Town Police Station head, beat and tortured Falun Dafa practitioners, had practitioners sentenced to prisons, sent to forced labor camps, detained, bankrupted, and robbed of their personal IDs and house licenses. He is the CCP Director in Wangjiadao Town Police Station now.
