Mr. Zhuang Ji'e from Nanning City Arrested

On the evening of April 9, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhuang Ji'e from Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was arrested by people from the Nanning City 610 Office, from Xinyang Station, from the Chinese Communist Party Yongxin District Committee, and from the Longteng Neighborhood Administrators. A witness reported seeing a vehicle stop at Mr. Zhuang's home. Occupants from the vehicle then knocked on the door, and when Mr. Zhuang opened it they forced him into the vehicle.

Mr. Zhuang's family went to the Xinyang Police Station to request the release of Mr. Zhuang, but the policemen replied, "Just because he practices Falun Gong! The Central Government said to arrest Falun Gong!" They refused to tell where Mr. Zhuang was detained. Mr. Zhuang's family has not received any written or oral justification for his arrest.
