(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25, 1999, more than 10,000 practitioners peacefully appealed to the Chinese Communist central government in Beijing for their basic rights of practicing Falun Gong. To mark the 7^th anniversary of this historic appeal and to protest the near 7-year persecution, Canberra Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil outside the Chinese Embassy. Through a microphone, practitioners tried to clarify the truth to embassy staff members and to expose the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

In a statement, practitioners stressed: Facing the brutal persecution, while steadfastly maintaining their belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance", practitioners have not passively waited for the end of the persecution. Instead, they have been exercising their rights to resist the persecution and to clarify the truth to the public.

Practitioners also highlighted the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners detained in labor camps and sincerely urged the embassy staff members not to participate in the terrible persecution.

"You should also tell your relatives and friends in China not to participate in the persecution so that they can have a good future." Practitioners told embassy staff members.
