(Clearwisdom.net) Some practitioners think that Dafa materials and books found by the authorities in unlawfully searching their homes could become evidence to be used against them and that they could be arrested or sent to forced labor camps. Paying for fines to be released has also become routine in the persecution. Practitioners are afraid of distributing copies of the Nine Commentaries, believing that would make the persecution worse. Actually, if we can strengthen our righteous thoughts, we are able to deny old force persecution. However, we cannot overlook our security either.
On September 15, 2005, I was reported to the police when I was distributing DVDs of the Nine Commentaries at my retail booth. The police searched my booth and found Nine Commentaries books, DVDs, DVDs of the Tiananmen Massacre, 54 copies of truth clarification materials, and a list of people who had claimed they wanted to quit CCP organizations. The authorities were using these materials to prepare a report and sentence me. At the police station, they handcuffed me to a metal chair and beat me brutally. They then demanded to know the source of the materials. I refused to tell them and sent forth righteous thoughts. I went on a hunger strike to protest their unlawfully detaining me. I shouted "Falun Dafa is good" when being force fed. I recited the lectures and articles, sent forth righteous thoughts, practiced the exercises, clarified the truth, refused to do prisoner's work, refused to wear a prison uniform, and refused to sign letters renouncing Falun Gong.

My spouse and my friends went to ask the police to release me many times. Practitioners from my city and nearby areas also sent forth righteous thoughts for me. On September 28, 2006, when my spouse was handling the paperwork for my release at the police station, the police asked for 5,000 yuan as a fine. My spouse rejected that demand with righteous thoughts.
"Calmly reflect on how many attachments you have,
as you get rid of human mentality,
evil naturally disappears" ("Don't Be Sad" in Hong Yin II)
I looked within to seek my attachments that were taken advantage of by the evil. One of the worst thoughts was: Dafa truth materials found by the evil were the evidence that they could use to persecute me. I acknowledged it passively and tried to cultivate amidst the old forces' persecution and the tribulation.
After I got home, some practitioners asked others how I could have been released, since anyone distributing the Nine Commentaries was sentenced, and they were wondering if the purpose of releasing me was for the police to find more practitioners. One practitioner even told another one that she could not believe that I had been released without even paying a fine. Other practitioners said it was good enough for me to talk about the Nine Commentaries when I did business on my booth, but it was not sensible to distribute the materials. They shared these ideas on a large scale as something positive and good. They all acknowledged the persecution and dared not distribute the Nine Commentaries because of their human thoughts and hearts. They believed that distributing the Nine Commentaries could cause more persecution. Actually, if we do well what Teacher tells us to do and strengthen our righteous thoughts, we will be able to deny the persecution by the old forces and walk well the Fa-rectification path arranged by Teacher.
I shared with practitioners that we'd better not depend solely on hunger strikes to protest the persecution. My coming out of the evil place in 13 days was based on strong belief in Teacher and Dafa. No matter what evidence or sentence, I denied them all.

When practitioners asked me what evidence the authorities had found, I said that they thought that I had made the materials. I still acknowledged the evil subconsciously, which attracted the evil again. On December 5, 2005, they came and searched my home, and found a copy of "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005." They also threatened me. At first I wanted to reply, but on second thought, I knew I should not follow them, I should use the Buddha Law and divine power that Teacher has given us to send forth righteous thoughts.
My heart was not calm when I began to send forth righteous thoughts, so I looked within immediately and denied that copies of Dafa books were a reason for them to persecute me. I adjusted my attitude and felt my righteous thoughts were really powerful. They eliminated the evil elements that were using the police to commit sins. Dafa books are for saving sentient beings in different dimensions, and they are not an excuse for the evil to utilize to persecute practitioners.
The police left without doing anything.
When I was sending forth righteous thoughts, I saw through my third eye a scene of the evil being destroyed in other dimensions.
No matter how difficult the situations are,

With steadfast belief in Teacher and Dafa, there are no tribulations that we cannot overcome. This is for sure.
