1. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Songlindian Town Police Station Participates in Capturing Ms. Liu Jizhi, a Former Rape Victim
On Monday, March 6, 2006, Ms. Liu Jizhi, a former rape victim from Zhuozhou, Hebei Province, was with her daughter who was forced to drop out of the school. She was working at a laundry room store when agents from the 610 Office of Baoding and Zhuozhou and the National Security Brigade illegally arrested her. Ms. Liu and her daughter's whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Jiangxi Province] Ms. Zhang Yuzhen's Hands Are Disabled as a Result of Persecution in Women's Prison
Ms. Zhang Yuzhen, 39, was born in Jingxian, Jiangxi Province. Since July 20, 1999, she has been to Beijing to validate the Fa, arrested, and confined several times. When she went to Beijing on October 2000, she was persecuted and sentenced to six years. For a long time, she had to endure all kinds of torture, including violent beatings, being locked in a small cell, being handcuffed and shackled, being hung, tied up under high temperatures (50 to 60 degrees C) under the burning sun, being restricted from taking bath showers, and not allowed to sleep.
By September 2005, the persecution was getting worse. Police used handcuffs to hang Ms. Zhang for so many hours that her hands became disabled. Police also instigated criminals to "beat her to death" and to grab her hand to write the Repentance Statement. The police also prevented family members from visiting her.

3. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Yuhua and Other Practitioners Are Persecuted at Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp
Since April 1, 2005, Chaoyanggou Prison Labor Camp has used various kinds of torture to persecute practitioners, but Ms. Liu Yuhua refused to cooperate. As a result, the police tied her with five ropes and burned half of her face. Mr. Li Yujun, another practitioner, was also tied up and beaten on the chest by about five people. He could not turn over in bed afterwards. Another practitioner had his testicles pinched by police, leaving him unable to walk without support. Other practitioners were either confined in a tight csmallell or were prevented from seeing their relatives.
4. [Qingyang, Gansu Province] The Third Prison of Tianshui Persecuted Practitioner Mr. Liu Zhirong to Death
After practitioner Mr. Liu Zhirong was tortured to death in the Third Prison of Tianshui, Gansu Province, several other practitioners who were transferred with Mr. Liu to the Third Prison, including Mr. Xu Feng, Mr. Guan Qiang, and six more, were in very serious condition. 5. [Songyuan, Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Xin Shirong on a Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution But Is Force-fed and Tortured. His Life Is in Danger
Mr. Xin Shirong, a practitioner from Tianpingzhuang Village, Hongquan Town, Qianguo County, Songyuan, was reported on March 9, 2006. Xu Biao and several others from the National Security Brigade of the Qianguo Police Department "illegally arrested" him. It has been six days since Mr. Xin's arrest. He has been (and is) on a continuous hunger strike. He was force-fed twice by the police, and his life now is in danger. Mr. Xin's family members went to the brigade to ask for his release. A police officer who shared the same office with Xu Biao said, "If he had stolen 400 or 500 yuan, we wouldn't have bothered. But why did he have to practice Falun Gong?"

6. [Heilongjiang Province] Women's Prison Persecuted Practitioner Ms. Li Yushu
Practitioner Ms. Li Yushu, a teacher from Daxinganling, was idetained in the Women's Prison of Heilongjiang Province. To protest the persecution, Ms. Li is currently on a hunger strike. The prison has instigated criminals to persecute her by force-feeding her. This is what they have done:
1) Shang Xiaomei and Zheng Dongmei used a tool to pry Ms. Li's mouth open. They force-fed her with a needle feeding tube, causing the food to come out with blood.
2) Wang Xinhua tied Ms. Li onto a chair and beat her in the face until it was deformed.
3) Yuan Anfen and Xiang Guifen kicked Ms. Li's face with their feet; they also used a brush to hit her and stuffed her mouth with underwear.
7. [Kunming, Yunnan Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Liang Is Injured During a Beating at the Wuhua Detention Facility
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Liang went out to clarify the truth at the end of September of last year and was arrested. He was detained at the Wuhua detention facility and was beaten many times, causing multiple injuries.

Practitioner Ms. Yang Shumei from Jidong is 45 years old. While she was clarifying the truth on the train on March 10, 2006, she was arrested and taken to the Mudanjiang Railway Police Department. Her home was also searched illegally. During the search, a copy of Zhuan Falun, a copy of the exercise tape, some truth clarifying handbooks, and some copies of "Minghui Weekly" were confiscated. When Ms. Yang's husband and another family member visited her at the police department, the police threatened them.

9. [Jishui, Jiangxi Province] Practitioners Ms. Lin Jinfeng and Ms. Zou Guizhen Are Arrested
On March 14, 2006, while copying truth clarification materials at a copy shop, practitioners Ms. Lin Jinfeng and Ms. Zou Guizhen were arrested by local police. Ms. Lin and Ms. Zou were then sent to Ji An where they were interrogated. Their homes were searched and Falun Dafa books and other related materials were all confiscated.
10. [Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Including Mr. Ji Qingyu Are Arrested and Persecuted
An employee of Qinhuangdao Railway, practitioner Mr. Ji Qingyu, was kidnapped from the company. He was sent to the Second Detention Facility of Qinhuangdao, where he was tortured and interrogated under pressure.
On March 10 the Shouchuang Shuiwu Ltd. Co. of Qinhuangdao cooperated with National Security to arrest practitioner's family member Ms. Guo Haisong. She was not allowed to sleep for the whole night and was forced to answer questions during interrogation. Meanwhile, Ms. Guo's five-or-six-year-old child was left alone at home. Ms. Guo's husband, Chang, also a ,practitioner, was arrested on March 10 by agents from National Security and Ms. Guo's company, the Chinese Medical Hospital of Qinhuangdao.
11. [Tonghua, Jilin Province] Multiple Practitioners Are Arrested
In the morning on March 14, 2006, Ms. Cui Shuhua, a practitioner from Tonghua, was arrested and her home was ransacked. Recently, another six to seven practitioners were also arrested and their homes ransacked.

Practitioner Ms. Guo Baoshi, Ms. Chen Xiu, and several others were arrested from Ms. Guo's new home by police from the Police Sub-Department of the Tiexi District on March 3. They were detained at the detention facility of the Police Sub-Department of the Tiexi District, Shenyang. The police also searched Ms. Chen Xiu's home near Labor Union Building.

On March 15, Ms. Zhao Yanghai from Xidayang Village, Hongdao Subdivision, the Chengyang District, Qingdao, was arrested at Jihongtan First Village in the Chengyang District. She was distributing truth clarifying material when people that did not know the truth reported her. On the same night, Xiao Ji, secretary of Hongdao Lianfang (United Defense), along with several people, searched Ms. Zhao's home and made confiscations.

14. [Jiamusi, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Yi Haizhu Is on a Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution at the Hegang City Detention Center
Ms. Yi Haizhu, a practitioner from Jiamusi that was arrested in Hegang City, was on a hunger strike for seven to eight days. Her relatives went twice to the police department of Hegang City and Farmer's and Work's Police Sub-Department of Hegang to request to Ms. Yi and try to get her out. However, the police turned down their requests.

Practitioners Mr. Zhang Guilin is from Shandong Province. After his graduation from university, he was assigned to the Dalian Xiangsu Machinery Factory Ltd. Co. On September 22, 2005, while searching for jobs online and browsing the Minghui/Clearwisdom website in an Internet cafe, Mr. Zhang was kidnapped by cyber police. He has been detained at Dalian Yaojia Prison for more than six months.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Yu from Shenzhen used to be a journalist with the Wenhui newspaper. She was arrested by police on March 30, 2005, and was detained at the Longgang Detention Center for more than 12 months. On October 21, 2005, Longgang Court had a trial for Ms. Liu, but no decision was made at the time. On March 20 2006, Ms. Liu faced a second trial at the 7th Shenzhen Longgang Court.

18. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Cuizhi Is Arrested
Ms. Li Cuizhi was a practitioner from Kaoshan Street, the Longtan District, Jilin City. On March 16 at noon, she was taking the No. 39 bus route downtown for business and as soon as she stepped off the bus, the police arrested her.
19. [Tumen, Jilin Province] Practitioner's Family of Three Is Arrested
On March 1, Jilin Tumen Yuegong Street Police Station sent police officers out for practitioners. After a 10-day waiting period, they arrested a family of three at their home in the Yuegong District. Among those arrested was an old lady--not a practitioner--who fainted on the spot. The police carried her out and threw her into the trunk of the car. The whole family was detained at the detention facility. A few days later, the old lady who did not practice Falun Dafa was sent home.

21. [Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Jiting and His Wife, Fu Huajing, from Hebei Normal University Were Arrested
Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry of Normal University of Hebei Ms. Fu Huajing and her husband, Mr. Liu Jiyan, were arrested while distributing truth clarifying material on March 6, 2006. Mr. Liu was going to be sentenced to three years of forced labor.

Practitioner Mr. Li Xupeng, Ms. Bai Shaohua, and her mother and daughter, all from Beijing, were detained at the Qinghe Detention Facilityin the Haidian District.
23. [Wendeng, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Jianyue Is Detained
In the evening on March 5, 2006, practitioners Ms. Li Jianzhen, Ms. Li Jianyue, and her daughter were distributing truth clarifying material at a village in Caomiaozi Town, Wendeng City, when they were reported and detained at Caomiaozi Police Station.

On March 13, 2006, at about 8 p.m., more than 10 police officers from the Liaoning Dandong Police Department Security Division, accompanied by Song Xuelu, the newly assigned brigade lead of Fengcheng Police Department Security Brigade, and some others rushed into practitioner Mr. Liu Chengguo's home in Dingjiafang Village, Jiguanshan Town. There were eight practitioners studying the Fa and doing the exercises. The eight practitioners included Mr. Liu Guocheng, Ms. Song Li, Ms. Song Li's husband, Mr. Liu Fuxue, Ms. Bao Shuxian, Ms. Bao Shuxian's husband, Ms. Liu Yaqin, Ms. Liu Yan, Ms. Shi Guixiang, and Ms. Yi Yuxin. All eight were arrested. The homes of Mr. Liu Guocheng and Liu Fuchao were illegally searched and items were confiscated.
In the evening on the same day, police took the practitioners to the Jiguanshan Police Station and made illegal interrogations. Police Officer Yu Hongxi hit Mr. Liu Chengguo in the face more than 50 times, and Sun Xin, the chief of the police station, beat Mr. Liu's wife. She lost two front teeth as a result of the beating. Later, the eight practitioners were sent to Fengcheng Detention Facility and were detained. Mr. Liu and other practitioners are currently on a hunger strike to protest this illegal persecution.

25. [Tieling County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Dongliang Is Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labor
In March 2005, a resident named Dai Jingfu from Sanhe Village, Aji Town, Tieling County, sent instant messages four times on behalf of practitioner Mr. Wang Dongliang, to the county police department. The messages said, "You cannot catch me. Signed Wang Donglliang." After receiving the four messages, a criminal police team went directly to Mr. Wang's home and arrested him. He was sentenced to forced labor for three years. He is currently detained in the Tieling Reformatory Facility.
26. [Rizhao, Shandong Province] 610 Office Agents Arrest Doctor Wang Shoushan from Xiaodian, Lv County
Doctor Wang Shoushan is a 58-year-old practitioner from Shandong Rizhao Lv County Xiaodian Town Medical Central Hospital. On March 7, 2006, while on duty at the office, Mr. Wang was arrested by 610 Office agents. His home was searched and items confiscated. His wife was also taken the next day. Mr. Wang was sent to Lv County and detained. His relative was fined with 1000 yuan.
27. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Police Sent Practitioner Mr. Chen Jiawei to Forced Labor and Demanded an "Education Fee" for the Labor Camp
Mr. Chen Jiawei, a teacher from Shangdong Weifang Fangzi District Jingshan Middle School, was arrested on February 5, 2006, by Fangzi Changning police. Mr. Chen was detained at the Weifang Detention Facility for one month and then sentenced to three years of forced labor. He was sent to Wang Village Forced Labor Camp.

28. [Tieling County, Liaoning Province] The Police Arrest and Extort Money from Practitioners
At the end of February 2006, more than 10 practitioners from several towns close by and in Tieling County, Liaoning Province, were arrested and had money extorted from them. Every person who was arrested was fined from 1,000 to 10,000 yuan. They were released at the time of payment.
29. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Xin Arrested
In the afternoon on February 11, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Xin from Tangshan was distributing truth clarifying material at Youyili in downtown Tangshan. While clarifying the truth, she was arrested by the police from Youyilu Police Station and sent to Tangshan First Detention Facility. She was idetained there and then sentenced to 18 months of forced labor.

A 48-year-old practitioner, Mr. Zhang Yiming, resided on 524 Route Aomen Road #18 in the Putuo District of Shanghai. While clarifying the truth, he was reported. In the morning on March 14, 2006, more than 10 police officers, accompanied by personnel from the residents' committee, searched Mr. Zhang's home and confiscated truth clarifying material. Mr. Zhang was not taken to a detention facility but was sentenced to five years in prison, beginning June 2006.
31. [Tianjin] Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinling from the Hexi District Is Detained
Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinling was taken from her home on October 1, 2004. She was first detained at the Hexin Detention Facility and then transferred to the Caozizhuang Detention Facility. Recently, she was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. She is now in the Nankai District's Women's Prison in Tianjin.
32. [Jining, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Yan Is Arrested
Thirty-year-old practitioner Ms. Zhang Yan from Jining worked at the Jining Knitting Factory. On the evening of March 11, 2006, she was arrested. She is currently detained at the Wulintun Detention Facility.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Yuying from Beijing is in her 40s. During the CNPC and the CPPCC, she was arrested and detained at rthe Fengtai District Detention Facility of Beijing. Her home was then searched, and books related to Dafa and truth clarifying materials were confiscated.
36. [Hanzhong, Shanxxi] Ms. Li Fengying and Several Other Practitioners Are Persecuted
On October 27, 2004, practitioners Ms. Li Fengying and Ms. Yang Qizhen were arrested by police from the Fengcheng Sanlu Develop Area Police Station of the Weiyang District, Xi'an. Ms. Li was then transferred and detained in the Hanzhong Hantai Detention Facility. Ma, a 610 Office leader, sentenced her to three and a half years of forced labor.

Practitioner Ms. Xu Hongfeng lived in a family dormitory in the West Commerce Bureau, Xianhe Park, Pingdu, Shandong. After she finished some personal business in Liyuan, police from Liyuan Police Station arrested her while she was clarifying the truth at Gezhuang Market on March 15, 2006.

Practitioner Mr. Zhu Danjuan from Weihai, Shandong, was arrested on March 8. Within less than one week of the arrest, Mr. Zhu was secretly sentenced to two years in prison. He has been secretly sent to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Ziliu.
39. [Huinan County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Dong Guangwen Is Sent to Forced Labor Camp Again
Practitioner Mr. Dong Guangwen, a vice principal of Jinchuan Central Elementary School of Huinan County, was sentenced to three years of forced labor on October 2000. After he returned home, he was reported again. He was once more sent to the labor camp.

On October 1999, 50-year-old practitioner Ms. Wang Miyun from Lukou Town, Chongyang County, Xianning Metro Area, Hubei Province, went to Beijing to validate the Fa and was arrested and detained for about three months. She was also fined 5000 yuan. On January 25, 2006, several police officers broke down her the door and took her away. The police then sent her to the brainwashing center.
