City council member Althea Polanski

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of April 4, 2006, at the Milpitas City council meeting, several Falun Gong practitioners told the city council about the atrocities happening in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp in Shenyang City, China where Falun Gong practitioners are killed and their organs harvested when they are still alive. After the city council meeting, council member Althea Polanski signed the petition to demand an end to the Chinese Communist regime's atrocities in the concentration camps. Ms. Polanski also promised to write to California congressmen to ask them to help stop the CCP's barbaric acts.

In her speech at the city council meeting, fourteen-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ruru introduced her experience and understanding of practicing Falun Gong. She said, "I've practiced Falun Gong for ten years, Falun Gong has brought me health and happiness. I never expected the CCP to be so heinous, even harvesting living Falun Gong practitioners' organs." Ruru hoped the city council would to write to President Bush, so that he will discusses the topic of demolishing the concentration camp when he meets with Hu Jintao this month.

A citizen attending the city council meeting expressed that she is 69 years old, and from Germany. She is very clear about the atrocities of the Nazi's concentration camps. She said, "The atrocities committed in China should get people's attention, but people nowadays are more concerned about the economy and trade, and ignore what they should pay the most attention to." She also signed the petition.

The petition to the government officials called for an immediate end to the outrageous crimes in China's concentration camps. The petition states that according to a journalist who recently escaped overseas from China, the CCP has built a concentration camp in Sujiatun, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, where up to 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners have been detained, and no one has been able to come out alive. According to the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, Falun Gong practitioners' organs are harvested when they are still alive and then sold for profit.

The petition urges government officials to condemn the barbarous acts, and demand an immediate investigation over the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. The petition also calls upon American officials to ask Hu Jintao to immediately tear down the Sujiatun Concentration Camp when meeting with him this month, and no longer remain silent in the face of such atrocities.
