Notice on the Scope of Investigation and Evidence Collection by "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution"

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 4, 2006, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui website founded "The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG)" (Abbreviated "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution"). Hereby, we issue a notice regarding the scope of investigation and evidence collection as stated below.

Time range: A December 22, 2000 report on the Minghui website states, "Some wicked police officers in Mainland China are secretly colluding with greedy doctors and they are looking to sell the organs of Falun Gong practitioners. Needless to say, the methods they use are cruel and heartless to the extreme. One source indicates that a certain hospital in the city of Shijiazhuang that specializes in Chinese medicine has received six such requests." The atrocities of organ harvest and sale and the subsequent burning of bodies to destroy the evidence at Sujiatun concentration camp were only exposed recently, yet it was learned that this crime against humanity started as early as 2000 and 2001. It reached its peak around 2001 and 2003, which was when Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan's group used the government machinery to ruthlessly persecute Falun Gong, and it was also when countless Falun Gong practitioners were brutally tortured after appealing. After Jiang stepped down, Jiang and Luo's diehard followers and some perpetrators who care only about money continued to engage in this criminal activity up until this day. Accordingly, the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution has decided that the period covered by its investigation begins on the first day that the secret concentration camps came into existence, and that the emphasis of the investigation will be on the atrocities committed during their peak.

Geographic scope: Sujiatun Concentration Camp is not the only place where profits have been derived harvesting the organs of live Falun Gong practitioners. According to a military insider, at least 36 similar concentration camps exist in China. Existing information shows that similar crimes happened on a widespread scale in many prisons, labor camps, hospitals and related facilities in China between 2000 and 2003, and has secretly continued to this day in some places. Therefore, the scope of evidence collection for the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution mainly include labor camps, prisons, hospitals and related facilities where Falun Gong practitioners have been detained and persecuted. At the same time, after the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was exposed, the CCP and the Jiang Zemin/Luo Gan criminal group have transferred Falun Gong practitioners abducted and held at Sujiatun Concentration Camp and other similar facilities and have probably already killed them in order to cover up their crimes. The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution will do its best to investigate and find out the whereabouts and condition of these Falun Gong practitioners.

Scope of crimes: The crimes against humanity committed at Sujiatun concentration camp represent only a small fraction of the CCP and the Jiang/Luo group's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, which has gone on for nearly seven years. The tip of the iceberg cannot exist independently of the gigantic body underneath the surface. Live organ harvesting is a felony that infuriates gods and men alike, while the large-scale illegal detention, brainwashing, slave labor, torture, sexual abuse, murder, among other despicable things done to the practitioners, are the iceberg underneath the water's surface. These are also crimes that cannot be tolerated and should not be allowed to exist! The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution will devote its efforts to investigate all of the crimes the CCP and the Jiang/Luo group have committed during this persecution against Falun Gong, and we vow to bring to justice Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan, head perpetrators responsible for this persecution, and perpetrators on various levels who did their utmost to follow them in the persecution.

For nearly seven years, Dafa practitioners inside and outside China, and especially Dafa practitioners in Mainland China who make up the main body of Dafa practitioners, have been consistently clarifying the truth, delivering and obtaining information through the Minghui website, and collecting, compiling, publishing and exposing firsthand information on the CCP and Jiang/Luo group's persecution of Falun Gong. After the shocking crimes of the CCP and the Jiang/Luo group's removal and sale of Falun Gong practitioners and the burning of their bodies to destroy evidence was exposed, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui website are obligated to establish the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution, a task that affords no hesitation. As long as the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners continues, as long as the aforementioned criminals are still at large, the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution will not stop its investigations, because otherwise there is no way to comfort the innocent lives taken in such an appalling manner, to rectify people's hearts, or to pacify the wrath of gods.

At the same time, we urge governments, organizations and media to immediately investigate the facts of the persecution in China. Back in the 1960s, the Communist Party boasted of 10,000 jin [about 11,000 pounds] of crop production from one mu [about 0.16 acre] of land, and as recently as 2003, the Communist Party covered up the SARS epidemic. Considering the CCP government's lying nature and the fact that Sujiatun Concentration Camp has been exposed for many days, the CCP has had enough time to transfer and destroy living and physical evidence. Going to Sujiatun now to conduct an investigation and collect evidence will be a futile effort and will also be an act of acquiescence to the CCP crimes against Falun Gong practitioners, including illegal detention, torture, brutal murder, sexual abuse and slave labor. We hope that governments and media can expand their scope of investigation and evidence collection when investigating the facts regarding live organ harvest of Falun Gong practitioners and cremation of bodies to destroy evidence. They should thoroughly understand and expose the truth of the persecution from all labor camps, prisons and related facilities, as only then will they avoid being fooled by the CCP and being manipulated by the ruses it uses to deceive the international community.

The goal of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution will be accomplished through the joint efforts of the Falun Dafa Association, the Minghui website, the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) (who will soon join the investigation team), Sound of Hope radio, the Epoch Times newspaper, New Tang Dynasty TV, and governments, NGOs, media and individuals who may be able to join at any time in the future.
