Two Falun Dafa Practitioners in Hebei Province Died under Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liang Xiu, 39, lived in Huangjiatun Village, Songlindian Town, Zuozhou City, Hebei Province. She went to Beijing to clarify the truth in 2000, and was illegally arrested by policemen from the Songlindian Town 610 Office Liaison Office in Beijing. Ms. Liang was tortured after being sent back to the Town Government Compound, and her family was extorted out of five thousand yuan. Ms. Liang was arrested again on the night of July 1, 2003, detained for 15 days in the Zhuozhou City Detention Center, forced to go through brainwashing in the Nanma Class for three months, and extorted out of another 6,500 yuan. Under financial, mental and physical tortures, Ms. Liang became sick, and she died on March 27, 2006.

Mr. Wang Baoqian, 60, was a farmer who lived in Wangjiafang Village, Shilipu Township, Xiong County, Hebei Province. His son and daughter-in-law are both Falun Dafa practitioners, and their family has been constantly harassed by the Xiong County 610 Officers, policemen, and the Xiongzhou Town Government and Village Officials. They had to leave home in order to avoid being arrested. Mr. Wang Baoqian had to farm all of the family fields under huge mental pressure. He had been sick with esophageal cancer since September 2002. Starting from December 2002, he began cultivating Falun Dafa, and his cancer was cured in several months. Policemen and government officials kept coming to his door to threaten him, and forced him to dare not to study the Fa or do the Falun Gong exercises. His old sickness came back in the winter of 2003. During the time that Mr. Wang was ill in bed, the Shilipu Police Station Head Cao Changqing (male) and 610 Officers came to threaten him two nights in a row, causing him to be extremely frightened, with extremely huge mental pressure. On January 29, 2003, three days before the Chinese New Year, lawless officials came to harass him again, which made his condition worsen. On February 20, 2004, they came to harass Mr. Wang again. The 610 Office assigned people to watch him closely during his final days. On March 10, 2004, Mr. Wang died a very painful death.
