(Clearwisdom.net) The persecution methods used at the Shaanxi Women's Forced Labor Camp are exceptionally brutal and outrageous. The camp orders three or four drug addicts to closely monitor and ruthlessly torture each practitioner every day. Practitioners have endured a great deal both physically and emotionally. They have been forced to work excessive hours and are often severely tortured.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yan Huiqing, from Xi'an City, was cruelly tortured by the Second Group. She went on a hunger strike to protest. The wardens ordered inmates to forcibly pry her mouth open with a chisel and push food down her throat with a spoon. Several of Ms. Huiqing's teeth were knocked out and her mouth filled with blood. The wardens and the inmates later tortured Ms. Huiqing to death, but inmates were told to testify that she had died of a sudden disease. They lied, claiming that they had fed Ms. Yan Huiqing with good food when she was sick, but she had bit their hands, even breaking several spoons. They not only killed her, but also accused her of wrongdoing.

The Second Group uses several torture methods. Practitioner Ms. Gao Li, 25, was from Yan'an City. Her vertebrae were so damaged from the severe beatings that she frequently suffered convulsions. Practitioners, Ms. Jie Shenru from Zhouzhi County, and Ms. Yang Li from Xi'an City, were nearly driven insane by tormentors from the Second Group.

Wardens often play video tapes and television programs that defame Dafa and bring collaborators to talk to the practitioners in attempts to brainwash them. When practitioners refused to cooperate, the wardens beat them with clubs, deprived them of sleep, forced them to stand up facing a wall for an extended period, put straight jackets on them, tied them up with ropes, handcuffed them behind their backs, and much more. They would handcuff practitioners to iron gates, windows, corridors, and the upper bunks. Sometimes they would handcuff practitioners' four limbs spread-eagle. They call it a "dead person's bed," and use the "five horses splitting a body" method to pull the limbs outwards. Practitioner Ms. Wei Xinrong from Hanzhong City was tortured this way. If a practitioner makes any sound while being tortured, their mouth is taped. Practitioners Ms. Lan Lan, (then 38 years old), and Ms. Zhao Pengli, (then over 50) from Xi'an City, almost suffocated to death due to this torture method.

On a cold winter night, the wardens found that practitioner Ms. Li Cuifang was meditating. They ordered inmates to pour a bucket of cold water over her head. Then they threw her blanket on the floor, pouring cold water on it and stepped on it with their dirty shoes. The room had two to three inches of water on the floor afterwards. Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuwen from Baoji City used a cloth and her wash basin to collect all of the water and poured it out. She continued doing this until the entire floor was dry. Ms. Wang Xiuwen was very fair to everyone, and some of the inmates actually referred to her as "mother." Angered by this, the wardens spread rumors that her family had a history of mental illness.

Practitioner Ms. Xu Mingxia from Baoji City was often handcuffed outside an iron gate by the wardens. She was not allowed to sleep, wash her face or brush her teeth. She was once handcuffed there for dozens of days. Only with her firm belief in Dafa and strong endurance was she able to survive.

On the morning of June 21, 2001, the forced labor camp made an intense effort to "transform" several firm practitioners. After telling practitioners to go to the playground, the wardens searched their clothes and bedding. When the practitioners returned, they found out that Teacher's articles and Hong Yin had been taken by the wardens. The practitioners went out to ask the wardens for their belongings. Not only did the wardens refuse to return the articles; they also physically and verbally abused them. Practitioners gathered at the corridor and shouted loudly in unison, "Return our Teacher's articles." They shouted this several times, and then started shouting "Falun Dafa Hao! (Falun Dafa Is Good!) Our great Teacher is good! Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa! Persecuting Falun Dafa is the biggest injustice!" Their loud and clear voices circled around the sky of the forced labor camp.

The forced labor camp director at the time, Zhang Zhuoqing, and political instructor Yang, called in six or seven male wardens. The twenty eight Falun Gong practitioners held on to each other, but the male wardens barbarically beat all 28 female practitioners down to the floor, and then dragged them out one by one so that they could be tortured individually. Practitioner Ms. Wu Daqiong (then 25 years old) from Hanyin County was beaten unconscious. But the wardens did not leave her alone. They dragged her by the hair and smashed her head against a wall.

Practitioner Ms. Luo Changyun from Ankang City was beaten so severely, and her forehead swelled so much, that her eyes swelled to the size of an egg.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuwen from Baoji City had several two to three inch long cuts on her head. The wardens kicked and stepped on practitioner Ms. Mei Hongying (then 64 years old) until her body was covered with wounds. Director Zhang Zhuoqing supervised the entire episode.

Suddenly, a warning blast of thunder began crashing through the sky. It seemed as though it was going to crush the roof of the forced labor camp. Lightening lit the rooms with its multi-color shining light. Director Zhang Zhuoqing and the other wardens were so frightened that they temporarily stopped the brutal torture. They handcuffed the Falun Gong practitioners and put them in solitary confinement.

By the end of 2001, the camp invited some so-called "famous experts" to give lectures against Dafa. Practitioner Ms. Zhao Jiabi (then 63 years old) from Xi'an City shouted the Fa Rectification formulas. The inmates and wardens choked her and covered her mouth. Another practitioner shouted, "Leave her alone!" but she was beaten as well. Practitioner Ms. Zhao Jiabi was handcuffed onto an iron gate, beaten, and frozen for nineteen days. The severe beatings left her eyes congested with blood and her arms and legs back and blue. When Ms. Zhao Jiabi confronted the wardens, they said brazenly, "Somebody beat you? Why didn't I see it?"

The Second Group of Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp bought a lot of produce from outside. The wardens ordered practitioners and inmates to pick the good ones out and package them into marketable vegetables. The inmates usually stole a lot of produce and shared it with the wardens for a bribe.

Practitioners asked the warden leader, "When we sit down to meditate at night, we do not disturb anybody, and you torture us.

By the end of 2001, Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp sent wardens to the evil Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province so that the wardens could improve their skills in torturing Falun Gong practitioners. At the end of March, 2002, Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp received eight hundred thousand yuan from Jiang Zemin, the chief of the Chinese Communist Party. The newly appointed Political Instructor, Zhao Xiaoyang, carried out intense efforts to "transform" practitioners. Zhao Xiaoyang used many sinister methods. The wardens gathered practitioners together to watch video tapes defaming Dafa, but this was resisted by the practitioners. Zhao Xiaoyang then asked inmates to torture the practitioners. Ten practitioners in one room began reciting, in one voice, the Fa Rectification formulas. Ten minutes later, a miracle happened: the inmates in that room started fighting amongst themselves, rather than beating practitioners. They broke a mirror into pieces and one inmate's hand required several stitches. The warden leader said to the inmates angrily, "We asked you to beat those practitioners, but you fight among yourselves! Each of your terms will be extended for 20 more days."

Practitioner Ms. Li Cuifang was cruelly tortured by Political Instructor Zhao Xiaoyang. Because she refused to watch the video tape, Zhao Xiaoyang used a club to beat her savagely. When other Falun Gong practitioners tried to stop him, Zhao Xiaoyang grabbed Ms. Li Cuifang's hair to drag her out of the room, and put her in a secluded room for more torture. He ordered several inmates and wardens to beat her with their hands, feet, planks, and clubs, until she lost consciousness.

Zhao Xiaoyang also sought revenge for personal spite. An unmarried Falun Gong practitioner from Yan'an City said that when she got out of the forced labor camp she would sue Zhao Xiaoyang for injuring and crippling so many Falun Gong practitioners. Zhao Xiaoyang used a lot of dirty words to slander this Yan'an practitioner in public. She questioned Zhao Xiaoyang, "Why do you injure and disable so many Falun Gong practitioners?" Zhao Xiaoyang said, "I have instructions from the top. I am not responsible for the injury, disablement, or death of Falun Gong practitioners." She challenged him, "Then do you dare to post your instructions on the street for the public?" Zhao Xiaoyang said, "You know what? This is called a national secret. There are rules about what can and cannot be posted."

In November and December of 2003, Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp started the so-called "war against the perseverant" for those practitioners who refused to be "transformed." Dafa practitioners Ms. Wei Xinrong from Mian County and Ms. Yu Qinzhen from Zhouzhi County of Hanzhong City were savagely tortured. Directly participating in this persecution were wardens Li Zhen, Fei Heng, Wang Li, Hu Xiaoting, and Yuan Yuan, all from the Education Group. They ordered the most sinister inmates, Li Ping, Huang Qing, and Zhang Xuefang, to lock the practitioners in the South Building. They did not allow the practitioners to sleep. They threw their bedding out and took the bed boards out. They even did not allow the practitioners to use the bathroom for more than a month, saying that the practitioners should solve the toilet problem themselves. Practitioners had only thin clothes in the cold winter. They were forced to urinate in their pants. They were not allowed to wash and change their clothes, so practitioners stopped eating and drinking. But the evildoers held practitioners down to the ground, stepping on their bodies and prying their mouths open to force-feed them. The evildoers became very tired after the vicious torture and fell asleep. Practitioner Ms. Wei Xinrong used that opportunity to urinate in her own wash basin. But Li Ping woke up and saw what she was doing. She poured all the urine from the wash basin onto Ms. Wei Xinrong's pants. The evildoers drew a circle in the room, and ordered all practitioners to stay within the line 24 hours a day. Practitioners were not allowed to move, otherwise, they would be beaten. Meanwhile, they played video tapes that defamed Dafa at high volume every day.

The wardens instructed inmate Yang Hongge to put nerve-damaging drugs into practitioner Ms. Yu Qinzhen's food for several months. After she was released from the forced labor camp, Ms. Yu Qinzhen was forced to pay the cost of the drugs. On several occasions, wardens Zhang Zhuoqing, Liu Sijia, Bai Xiao and Wang Yajuan forcibly took Ms. Wei Xinrong to a mental hospital to inject some unknown substances into her body. As a result, Ms. Wei Xinrong was getting weaker and weaker. She was extremely thin, but her stomach was as big as a drum. She developed TB in both the abdominal and the chest cavities in September of 2004. When her life was in critical condition, the wardens were afraid of being liable for her death, and informed her family to take her out immediately.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Jin (a foreign language editor in a university), went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution. The wardens put her in solitary confinement and violently force-fed her for a long period. Four or five male wardens frequently dragged her out to an unknown place and assaulted her physically. It was so cruel that they did not even let the inmates who were supposed to monitor her daily know about it. They would drag her back to the solitary compartment after the torture. The wardens also ordered Zhang Xuefang to put excrement into Ms. Liu Jin's mouth.

From August 2004 to the end of that year, the evil forced labor camp started another round of cruel torture against practitioners who refused to be "transformed." The wardens put the practitioners in separate rooms and used inmates to monitor them 24-hours a day. The frequent torture methods included sleep deprivation and bathroom breaks, washing, and teeth-brushing - all while defamatory video tapes were playing day and night. When practitioner Ms. Fan Shuilian refused to write the so-called guarantee statement, Warden Li Zhen used her leather boots to kick Ms. Fan fiercely and mercilessly. Ms. Fan Shuilian's legs swelled and turned black and blue. Her head was left with several bald spots where the hair was torn out.

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Yating was getting extremely frail after the long period of persecution - including sixteen to seventeen hours of forced labor work every day - but the wardens still would not leave her alone. Wardens Li Zhen and Bai Xiao, and inmate Zhang Xuefang, verbally and physically abused Ms. Zhou Yating every day. Ms. Zhou Yating did not cooperate with the torture. When Ms. Zhou Yating squatted down to rest, Warden Bai Xiao picked her up by grabbing her hair, and then threw her back down. Her head smashed directly on the ground and she lost consciousness. Later, Ms. Zhou Yating said that she would have lost her life had Master not protected her at that time. She was often beaten black and blue by the evildoers. Once when she refused to wear the forced labor camp logo, Warden Fei Heng beat her with a club. Her muscles became swollen and turned black and purple. It took a long time for her to recover.

Over the past several years, the crimes of persecution against practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party in Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp are countless. What I have written is only a small portion of them. Participating in the persecution are the wardens, drug addicts, and other inmates. But behind the scenes, it's the evil 610 Office within the CCP that gives the directions and orders.
