(Clearwisdom.net) On April 27, 2006, US Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren from California pointed out in a letter to the US Secretary of State Rice, that if the allegations of organ harvesting for medical transplants without consent were true, the United States should do everything it can to put an end to this barbaric practice. Below is the text of the letter.

Dear Secretary Rice:

Constituents have raised questions to me whether China may be engaged in the harvesting of organs for medical transplants without consent. If these allegations were true, the United States should do everything it can to put an end to this barbaric practice.

My constituents allege that the Chinese government may be systemically harvesting organs of executed prisoners and potentially live individuals, all without consent of the individual victims or their family. My constituents report that many organ harvesting victims are practitioners of Falun Gong, many whom are imprisoned for the practice of their faith.

Clearly, if these allegations were true, the United States would need to take diplomatic action to help put an end to these practices. Any information that you can provide to me on this matter would be very welcomed.
