Canada MP Alexa McDonough: I Urge You to Not Waver in Your Determination to See Justice Prevail (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) On April 3, 2006, Canadian Member of Parliament Alexa McDonough wrote a letter to Canada Falun Dafa Association. She stated: "We will not waver in our determination to ensure that Canada's foreign policies reflect our Canadians values." She encouraged Falun Gong practitioners to not waver in your determination to see justice prevail.

April 3, 2006

Dear Friends of Falun Gong,

I am sorry I am unable to join you today.

I want to reassure you that New Democrats are committed to the pursuit of peace, justice, human rights and the rule of Law. We believe that these are also the values of the overwhelming majority of Canadians.

We will not waver in our determination to ensure that Canada's foreign policies reflect our Canadians values. We call on the federal government to put pressure on the Chinese government to halt immediately its persecutions of practitioners of Falun Gong, and its ongoing human rights violations against innocent Chine citizens.

I urge you to not waver in your determination to see justice prevail.
