Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners and the People of Helsinki Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day Together (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) May 13 was World Falun Dafa Day. On this day, Finland Falun Dafa practitioners gathered in a park at the Helsinki city centre, celebrated the fourteenth anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction and respectfully wished Master happy birthday.

Demonstrating five sets of Falun Gong exercises

A banner worded "Falun Dafa is Good" was hung on one side of the park centre. In front of the banner practitioners performed on waist drums and demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises.

It was the first time the waist drum team of Finland practitioners performed. Among the team there were not only teenagers but older people in their sixties as well. Bright yellow costumes for doing exercises and the sound of beating drums attracted tourists, and they stopped one after another. Many of them took pictures and filmed the wonderful scene using their cameras or video cameras.

During the activity, practitioners gave beautiful, hand-made lotus flowers to children and ladies. People kept praising, "Kaunis"--Finnish meaning beautiful, pretty. At the same time, practitioners gave a brief introduction of Falun Dafa to the adults as well.

People read truth-clarification posters

On the other side of the park centre, practitioners demonstrated grace of Falun Dafa. They set up truth-clarification posters and hung banners worded "Heaven will destroy the CCP, Quit the CCP in order to save Yourself.", "The number of people who have quit the CCP is over 10 millions" and "Strongly condemning CCP's live organ removal from Falun Gong practitioners for sale and cremation of their bodies to eliminate the evidence". Using these means, they exposed the CCP's crimes in the persecution of Falun Gong for seven years. Many people carefully read the poster boards first and then signed the petition, one after another, expressing support for opposing the persecution.

On this day there were also many Chinese tourists passing by. Practitioners seized the opportunity to distribute Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and clarify the truth to them. Some of them accepted the Nine Commentaries in a hurry on their trip. Some tourists either carefully listened to practitioners' explanation or sat down and started reading the Nine Commentaries. A practitioner agreed to help five people with their internet announcement to withdraw from the CCP.
