Do Not Be Attached Under Any Circumstances

(Clearwisdom.net) My daughter changed tool bars on the computer screen from horizontal to vertical accidentally while she was using the computer. She wanted to change it back but her effort was in vain. She asked me to help and I could not fix it either.

My daughter was unhappy about this, thinking that it affected her work. She could not concentrate when she sent forth righteous thought. I recited two poems from Hong Ying II to her. They were "Discarding Attachments" and "No Obstacles"(provisional translation subject to further improvement). My main purpose was to tell her not to be attached to the issue, as she could not study the Fa well, send forth righteous thoughts, and do the exercises well when she became attached to anything.

I told my daughter again not to be attached to the problem. Teacher explicitly said, "With no attachment to anything, the path underfoot is naturally clear" (provisional translation subject to further improvement.) The change in the direction of the tool bar was not a big issue. We could find someone to fix it. "Even if the sky collapses, we should not be attached." When I said this sentence, I suddenly became awakened.

Zhuan Falun states at the beginning, "the entire cultivation process for a practitioner is one of constantly giving up human attachments." When there is one attachment and there is one test you don't pass well, then it will become an opportunity for the evil to exploit. So many terrible calamities have happened to Falun Dafa practitioners. For example, after the concentration camp in Sujiatun, Shengyang was exposed and the subsequent exposure of the Chinese Communist Party's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, some practitioners who were not steadfast were shaken in their righteous belief in Teacher and Falun Dafa. Think about it, didn't these things happen because of Falun Dafa practitioner's thoughts?

As long as your heart isn't moved, the evil cannot do anything to you. If you can remain unmoved even when the sky collapses, the evil will have nothing to grasp and exploit; and it will therefore exterminate itself. This period is the opportunity for Falun Dafa practitioners to become mature. If the persecution were over, this opportunity would be gone.
