New Practitioner: Falun Dafa Gave Me a Second Life

By a new Dafa practitioner in Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) One year ago I was living in agony from severe illnesses. Although I was in my 30s, I was desperate because medical treatments could not help me. With no other choice I started practicing Falun Gong. My life has never been the same since.

Before I practiced Falun Gong, I suffered from osteo-sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis, and the pain was great. After spending lots of money, going to different doctors, and resorting to different medical treatments, my condition only worsened. Of the four members of my family, the elderly one is disabled. My child was only seven years old, and the financial burden was heavy. We had borrowed much money from friends and relatives, but my illnesses were not cured. I didn't expect to live much longer in this world. Sometimes when the pain became too much, I would take steroids to control the exacerbation. After taking steroids for a while, my whole body swelled and yet the illness was still not controlled. I cried in bed each day and could not take care of myself. My family had to bring food to my sickbed. I thought my life was too hard and my suffering too great, and I truly wanted to disappear from this world right away. This agonizing life lasted until 2005.

In May 2005, I met some Falun Dafa practitioners who introduced me to the practice. I read Zhuan Falun daily and I did the exercises. Within one week I experienced huge changes: I had been bedridden, and now I could walk around and do some light chores. Six months later, my health is only getting better, and I can do all light and heavy chores inside and around the house. My whole family witnessed the power of Falun Dafa. They all started to practice Falun Dafa. The miraculous healing power of Falun Dafa also convinced our neighbors.

As I studied the Fa in depth and with fellow practitioners' help I learned that Dafa practitioners should clarify the truth about Dafa to people, so more people can learn Dafa, learn the truth and be offered salvation.

Herewith I want to tell people that only when you truly enter Falun Dafa will you understand the beauty of Dafa. Only when you truly understand the truth about Dafa will you have a bright future.

I am infinitely grateful to Teacher for giving me a second life. I will firmly remember Teacher's words and cultivate myself to be a qualified Dafa practitioner.
