Michigan: Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) To celebrate Master's 55th birthday and the 7^th anniversary of World Falun Dafa Day, practitioners in Michigan along with their family members held a celebration event at a conference room in the city of Troy on May 14, 2006.

Practitioners offer their birthday wishes together for Master: "Happy Birthday!"

A huge banner reading "World Falun Dafa Day" was hung from the ceiling of the hall and big lotus flowers decorated the hall. The atmosphere was pleasant and joyful.

The celebration started with a speech describing how Falun Dafa has been widely introduced into over eighty countries and regions, and has benefited so many people. The speech also talked about Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist regime's inhumane persecution against Falun Gong. After hearing about the recent revelation of the Chinese Communist regime harvesting organs from living practitioners and then cremating their bodies to wipe out the evidence, the guests were indignant. Theyexpressed that they would help to stop the persecution by all means.

Performances

Everyone shared Master's birthday cake and other delicious food at around noon. In the mean time, the instrumental ensemble from the "Senior-Junior Orchestra" played the song "Sit by My Side." Then the senior choir sang the same song in both Chinese and English. The performance ended with the singing of "Falun Dafa is Good" by everyone present.

After the performance, practitioners had pictures taken with the guests, and they all extended their birthday wishes to Master: "Happy Birthday" and "Happy World Falun Dafa Day."

Practitioners shared experience after the guests left. Some veteran practitioners reviewed how they started the practice before 2001 in Michigan, and how Master drove a hundred thousand miles to introduce Falun Dafa to people and to save them. Practitioners felt from their hearts how sacred and great Master's Fa-rectification is. They agreed that no words could fully express their feelings towards Master's arduous salvation. The only thing they can do is to work harder on the three things that Master requires of us and to introduce the facts of Falun Dafa to more people, so that they will be worthy of Master's salvation.
