By a practitioner in Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Due to prolonged persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Ms. Wang Yuju, 63 years old, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Xiyuanjia Village, Canzhuang Town, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, died on March 19, 2006.

Before Ms. Wang Yuju practiced Falun Dafa, she suffered from severe high blood pressure and numerous illnesses. Her diseases were all healed after she started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. She was then able to do much physical work at home. Her family was very happy about the change.

On July 20, 1999, when Jiang Zemin and the CCP initiated the full-scale and pervasive persecution of Falun Dafa and its practitioners, members of the Canzhuang Town government and public security department identified Ms. Wang Yuju as someone to be persecuted. She was forced to wear a sign on her chest slandering Falun Dafa and was sent to the county military station to be publicly criticized, displayed, and humiliated. During the day, Ms. Wang was subjected to forced labor and in the evening, she was subjected to brainwashing. She was detained for 15 days.

During early February 2002, Ms. Wang went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing with other practitioners to validate the Fa, but police officers from Zhaoyuan City and Canzhuang Town and agents from the 610 Office captured her. They took her to the 610 Office on Luofeng Street in Zhaoyuan City, where they tortured her for seven days in the basement. After that, she was transferred to the Canzhuang Town brainwashing center for 20 more days.

Then, local CCP members forced their way into Wang Yuju's home numerous times to harass, threaten, and extort money from her. They also took her to the brainwashing center. Ms. Wang suffered tremendously, both physically and mentally. Her health became worse and worse. In February 2005, her illnesses relapsed, turning into cerebral thrombosis, and treatment was ineffective. Ms. Wang passed away on March 19, 2006.

From the end of 2005 until the beginning of 2006, Wang Aijun, the head of the 610 Office in Canzhuang Town, Zhaoyuan City, and the county policemen illegally arrested practitioners. Many were sent to the brainwashing center to be tortured. On the eve of March 29, 2006, the county police arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Yu'e. Currently, she is being held and persecuted in the Linglong Brainwashing Center in Zhaoyuan City.
