Falun Gong Saved My Husband from Terminal Stage Lung Cancer

(Clearwisdom.net) Because of the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, my husband and I fled from our home in 2002 although he was suffering from multiple ailments at the time. We settled down in a county. We lost our source of income, but we had to find a way to support our daughter in college. Despite his illness, my husband started to work as a night watchman at a nearby factory for 200 yuan a month. In the winter of 2004, the chairman of the factory needed more people in the boiler room and offered my husband a salary raise for the additional responsibility of the boiler room. My husband agreed. However, the strongly irritating sulfur vapors in the boiler room caused him to cough constantly after only a few days. No medicine or herb was of any help.

In July 2005, an informant reported me to the police. The local police came to harass us at our new home in the middle of the night. Again I was forced to flee from my home. I left the county for another city. With the help of a fellow Falun Gong practitioner, I found a new job there. After a few days on the new job, a fellow practitioner came to inform me that my husband had become terribly ill and had trouble breathing. A small clinic diagnosed him with pleural effusion and told him to go to a larger hospital. I immediately called my daughter during her summer vacation and told her what happened. She picked him up and took him back to our previous home. My brother-in-law (my husband's older brother) and my daughter had him checked into the city tumor hospital just in time.

On the very first day at the hospital, they pumped 2.5 kilograms of fluid from his lungs. Then they started a thorough physical examination. He was diagnosed with terminal-stage lung cancer. The news came like a bomb that exploded in the hearts of my brother-in-law, my sister-in-law, and my daughter. They were overcome with grief and shock. I could understand what they felt. After I heard the diagnosis over the phone, I immediately rushed to the hospital. The very first thing I did when I saw him was to put a carefully handmade necklace with a Falun Gong badge as a pendant around his neck. My husband now looked very different from last week. I remembered that his illness plummeted rapidly since I left him. He hadn't had any water. Tears flooded down my face uncontrollably. To verify the diagnosis, the hospital did a whole body scan only to find that the cancer cells had spread all over his body. The chairman of the department and the chief doctor had a joint diagnosis and declared, "It is too late. Don't waste any more money." Therefore, we stopped the chemotherapy halfway. When my husband was checking out of the hospital, the doctor asked to see my daughter and me. He said, "I want you to be prepared for what's coming. He is having very severe lower back pain. All of his body functions are beginning to fail. Since he was admitted to the hospital, we had to pump fluid from his lungs every other day. Each time we had to give him a shot to stop fluid from building up in his lungs. (Each shot cost 720 yuan.) However, we have never been able to stop the fluid build up. Things are going to get worse after he goes home. I think he will have to come back in a week. He won't be able to make it if the fluid isn't taken out of his lungs. Let him have anything he wants to eat. Don't go back to school yet. Spend some time with your father. You won't be able to see your father next time you come home." The doctor prescribed some medicine and I had my husband checked out of the hospital.

After he returned home, his sisters traveled a long distance to see him. My husband was laying still and looked like a sack of bones. He hardly had the strength to talk. He had a sickly yellow complexion. His shriveled body was lying on the floor. It was a miserable sight. They were very saddened to see him like this. Indeed, he had just reached 51 at the time.

After I started to practice Falun Gong, I tried to persuade my husband to practice Falun Gong too, but he repeatedly turned me down. After he returned home, I told him, "Why don't you start practicing Falun Gong?" This time he agreed to it. On the second day he returned home, my daughter and I took turns reading Zhuan Falun to him. Then a miracle happened! Three days after we started reading Zhuan Falun to him, the wounds from needle injections healed up. He could breathe better and even eat ice cream. He was in significantly less pain. He had better strength. My daughter and I exclaimed in joy, "Teacher is looking after you! Teacher is purifying your body!" A week passed. Ten days passed. He became healthier each day. In fact, he could even stand up and practice the Falun Gong exercises. His brother and sisters witnessed that my husband was becoming healthier each day since he started to practice Falun Gong although he had stopped taking medicine or shots. They were very impressed and astonished by Falun Gong's miraculous power. My daughter also commented, "Falun Gong is exceptionally miraculous!" Seeing her father gradually recovering, my daughter felt safe to return to school.

It has been over seven months since my husband started practicing Falun Gong. Under Teacher's compassionate protection, he has become healthier each day. He now even weighs more than before he got ill. He didn't have a lot of hair and had lost all of it during the chemotherapy. After he started practicing Falun Gong, his hair grew back. The new hair is black, dense and slightly wavy. He now looks much younger and more handsome. He feels his body is very light and agile. He does not have any problem walking. He is now even more diligent in studying the Fa and practicing the Falun Gong exercises than when he started. He is upgrading his xinxing very rapidly.

His sisters and brother have witnessed Falun Gong's magnificence and now encourage him to continue practicing Falun Gong. They even paid our rent for us. Before the Chinese New Year, they brought us money and did New Year's shopping for us. They told us happily, "You have to thank your Teacher that all three of you are able to spend the New Year together! Thanks to Falun Gong!" My daughter also exclaimed excitedly, "It is Teacher that saved my father! It is Falun Gong that saved my entire family!"

On New Year's Eve, the three of us celebrated the New Year by thanking our compassionate and magnificent Teacher and Falun Gong! Then we extended New Year's greetings to Teacher on behalf of all of our relatives and on behalf of our fellow Falun Gong practitioners! The truth reveals that Falun Gong is the true science! It is an extraordinary science!
